Fantasy bondage tape - suspension kit by Pipedream - review by Ophelia Swallows

Where do I begin with this? My current boyfriend and I decided to give this a whirl. He's quite vanilla and, obviously, I'm into the kinkier things in life. I thought it would be a good first step into introducing to some lighter bondage. Nothing too scary. And light it was! I'm not a particularly strong girl, but this stuff stretches and breaks so easily, you need to use a whole lot of it to get the desired effect. I was able to wiggle out of it no problems the first couple of times. By the time we had gotten me properly bound up, we had used almost half the roll and by then, it just wasn't even worth it. And don't even ask how much we needed to use to get HIM properly strapped down.

This stuff CAN be reusable, if you're willing to spend however long it would take to straighten it all back out again. The smell isn't strong, but it's definitely there. A cheap, plastic-y smell. Not a bad smell, but not necessarily good either. It DOES look very nice when everything is said and done. A very visually appealing effect. I also love the fact that it doesn't stick to skin or hair. Seeing as how both my partner and I have some pretty long hair, that is a huge plus. However, not being sticky means you DO have to get it on tighter than you would duct tape and, if left too long, can cut off circulation in the most unpleasant fashion and leave welts where it digs in. Though it's about the same as if you were to use rope or the like.

I really don't believe it was worth all the time and effort we put into just getting it to work properly. Could have been done faster and more efficiently with handcuffs. The price reflects 2, possibly 3 usages. For just a little bit more I can buy some rope, can be reused countless times and less of a pain in the butt to deal with.
