Vibrawhip 9 tail by Lover's Choice Inc. - review by Penguin

The Vibrawhip is a pretty cool product. My partner and I are not super into anything that is hardcore whipping, flogging, or bdsm, but she loves a good spanking and we do like a bit of pain with our pleasure every once in a while. I thought a vibrating whip might be the perfect combo. Since you control how hard you hit with this, it can be used by any one really. Even if you are not into whipping, it feels great to have the vibrating tails dragged across the skin. This can cause some red marks and a lot of pain though. So if you are into hardcore, this might be for you too.

I don't have much experience with whips so I'm not sure if I SHOULD be impressed or not, but I am. I think it's pretty damn cool that the base of this is a vibrating handle that turns into a whip. There are nine tails of the whip and they are about two feet long. At first I thought that nine tails looked a bit "thin", but they don't feel that way at all. They are made of real leather. One side is softened, while the other is finished. They are somehow securely connected to a plastic rod that is about 9" long. That connects to the plastic and rubber handle which is about 5" long. It is really easy to hold for male or female hands. It has ridges for even firmer grips too. The button for the vibrations can be hard to push for my girlfriend's thumb, but other than that, the design is pretty solid.

The bottom of the vibrator handle pops off to put the two AA batteries in it. This was pretty easy after the first time.

For soft play: We used this to drag across the skin with the vibrations on. You can't feel them when being whipped but they transfer well into the tails. It feels great on a hard penis and the balls. Just be careful if you have not broken in the tails yet. The sides can feel like they are cutting you, like a paper cut a bit. Go slow until it has been played with enough to be softened. Depending on how hard you play, this could take a while.

For rough play: The whipping is excellent. Again, you can't feel the vibrations when being whipped, but they tails make a great sound and sting feeling. I even liked it. My girlfriend especially liked it because she loves being spanked. This filled her needs well.

My favorite way to use the whip is neither of the above ways actually. The vibrations are very strong and are concentrated in the top of the handle, but they travel to the wand part and the tails really well. I like to tease my partner by placing the wand over both nipples. This drives her crazy. We both really liked using this on each other. I'd say it is one of the coolest items I have picked for us.

There are a few vibrations to choose from too. They are all really strong and will make your hand go numb after a while. The first is a strong steady vibration, second is a fast pulse, third is a short then long pulse, fourth is steady again but a lower level of power. If you press the button again, it will go to the first option again. It is annoying to turn the toy off. You have to hold down on the button for like 5 seconds in order for it to turn off.

Obviously, keep lube and water away from the leather when you can. I can't imagine that this would need lots of cleaning, but if it does, you can wipe it down with a wash cloth. Store it away from heavy moisture because of the leather. The tails can be folded next to the rest of the toy and it can be slid into any small space, like in a drawer.

There is not much packaging. The base/handle comes encased in cardboard that has some info on it. It explains some care for the leather. It also says that there is a pamphlet inside that explains more, but I never found one.
