This product is designed to be an introduction into the world of bondage. This would work best for couples who have tried using neckties, scarves, or other things and are looking to up the ante a little bit. Since there are four straps it can be used to bind both feet and hands. When considering whether or not to purchase this product you need to consider where you will use it because each tether must be tied to something stable enough to withhold a little tugging from the one who is tied down.

The design of this product is very simple, which is what makes this toy so valuable. It is made of nylon straps and the cuffs are plush that attach by velcro. If you are like us and have small kids you know that velcro shoes are constantly coming undone. This is not the case with these straps. I am a decent sized man and when me wife attaches these to my wrists and ankles I am not able to get free with sheer force. However, if you needed to get out in a hurry (like when you hear footsteps coming down the hall they can be removed easily by pulling and the velcro strap. With the velcro being adjustable it should accommodate most sizes but if you are really small or really large there may be issues with size. These straps are 3 1/2 feet long which should be long enough to find an anchor to attach too easily.

When we received these I was worried that they would not be able to keep a knot where we tied it down. This is not the case. I flunked out of Boy Scouts so my knot tying ability is limited to shoelaces. Turns out that is all you need for these. The cuffs are very soft and extremely comfortable to the skin. We have loved these tie downs so much we have never purchased any other tie downs simply because these do the job so well. Because they simply tie to anything rather than having clips or buckles, they can be used almost anywhere in any combination. One tip is to tie both hands to the same bedpost so you can roll over and be played with on both sides. Just a thought...

I gave these 5 stars not because they are the best tie downs in the world but rather because they are so much better than the $20 that they cost. They really go above and beyond the expectations for beginner bondage gear.

We have thoroughly enjoyed this product and it is a staple in our bedroom. One thing I did find out was that you can even use these when there are no bed posts or legs. We took them with us on a weekend get away and the hotel had a typical hotel bed with no headboard and no legs to tie the straps down to. So, I took a scarf and tied a strap to each end and slid it under the bed and it worked perfectly. There is always a way if you think about it long enough.
