Cons:
Nothing.
The Rubber Whip from Sportsheets is a great tool for a beginner kinkster, spanko, sensation seeker or pervert. Even a more advanced player will still find this a valuable addition to a toy bag - for use as a warm up tool, for a more mellow flogging, or for use with a new partner. And although it's a mellow and gentle flogger, there are tricks to wielding it so that it delivers a jarring *thwack* or a stunning sting.
The rubber whip is made from dozens of thin rubber strings – about as wide as angel hair pasta – that are doubled up and gathered together through a see-through plastic handle, cinched into place at either end by big black plastic balls. The plastic handle has a bit of flex to it and is in no way brittle – no need to worry about strong strikes making the handle shatter with stress! The wrist loop for this whip is attached to the toy in the loop made by doubling over of the the rubber strings in the handle. This design is simple yet sturdy, with no chance of rubber strings flying free amidst the throes of a flogging. Because this whip is made of rubber, it can be clean up after used by being dipped into toy cleaner, hospital grade disinfectant, or warm soapy water (depending on how disinfected you wish it to get) – but being rubber, it can't be bleached or boiled or anything like that. I eagerly await the day that someone comes out with a version of this flogger made of silicone...
This toy is capable of producing an amazingly wide number of sensations. If danced lightly across the skin, the rubber whip tickles and delights. When applied with a very loose wristed and light swing, the strands dance and bounce off of flesh, licking with a light thud and blushing the skin they hit ever so gently. If thrown harder, yet still loose wristed, the strings fall randomly across the skin, and they fall sharp and stingy – like a thousand tiny zaps across sensitive flesh. If thrown with a firm wrist (with follow through), the strings hit with a mixture of thud and sting – thudding where a number of them hit in unison, and stinging when they hit as solitary falls. To achieve a deep hard thud with this toy, the flogger should first be twirled so that the strings all wind around one another so that the fall becomes one big rubber tail that can be thrown with follow through onto a pert and expecting backside.
A few cautions about this whip, however. The thin rubber strings like to wrap around things as they're being thrown, and will grab and pull unpleasantly if the whip is pulled away quickly while they're wrapped. This means that genital whippings, especially if there is a piercing present, need to be done slowly and with care. Also, because of the fact that the rubber strings are a bit difficult to completely control, this whip should not be used for a boobie beating unless the recipient is wearing a pair of safety goggles - or perhaps a blindfold.

Follow-up commentary

So a word of warning - if you whip someone coated in massage oil, the falls of this whip might get a little mucked up. A good wash with soap and water (being careful not to let water get inside the handle), plus hanging it to dry will suffice in washing off any oil/lube/whatnot.

Performance
I enjoyed this toy after a wax play session. My skin was warm and sensitive and the falls tickled and stung just a bit, depending on how the toy was used. That, however, was the only thing it was really good for in my opinion. It is too light weight to do much in regards to how a flogger is traditionally used and swung, and while it DID leave marks, they were fairly light and did not last more than a half an hour or so. -
no it shouldn´t i want one

Nice review, Red.
Rubber makes an excitingly nice alternative to leather. Can tickle or really hurt more and leave some nice marks!
