Black rose whipping willow - whip discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by hearts and hardons

This whip is well constructed and gets the job done! It is a pretty purple and black. It is not intimidating, and a fun toy. As a beginner, I enjoyed this toy for its range of sensations, light to moderate firmness with the potential for a little burn. I felt in control of how hard I was using it. I think you would have to make a real effort to get pink skin from this product because of the material's weight.

The handle is light weight and the tassels are a semi-soft leather. The tassels may also be good for teasing and dragging along the skin. The sound of the whip is a very satisfying part of the experience. There was a slight smell of leather upon receiving it, but it dissipated quickly. I tested the durability by tugging on the tassels, and although the leather has a little give to it, they stayed put in the handle. The tassels are separated and will not easily become tangled or stuck together.

I haven't had to clean this toy yet, but wiping it with a damp cloth or leather cleaner will surely do the trick. It is not intended to get wet.

The packaging was throw away for me, nothing to store the whip in. I keep it in my toy box and haven't had any issues with things sticking to it or getting dirty.

This whip is quite lengthy for my beginning skills. We had a somewhat hard time with accuracy, especially using it while having sex. The entire whip is a little longer than my arm from fingers to shoulder. The size makes it a bit more dramatic (think swinging it in the air), but I'm not sure it does much for sensation. I think I will get something more substantial and shorter next time. I have no regrets on this purchase.
