I decided to order this, because I had been wanting to try a paddle for a while. I decided that I wanted this to be my first paddle because I like the idea of the impressions, and I love it when my husband calls me a little slut. This was just perfect for me!

My husband spanked me with it, mercilessly and it did actually leave a bit of an impression on my bottom. Sadly though he could only get the "S" to show up, along with the edge of the paddle. He said it was too awkward to hold it and slap any other way. He said that when he hit me with it, the "S" would hit first, leaving the "LUT" to land a tiny bit later and with less force, so they just wouldn't show up. I did have a flaming red bottom when we were done with it though, so even though the impression didn't turn out as well as I had hoped, this still did it's job when it comes to bringing on the pain.

I'm gonna go ahead and say this could probably be used for heavy play. I'm not the best to make that choice though, considering my pain tolerance isn't extremely high. I can take a good hit from my Fluffy Flogger without flinching though, but this paddle almost made me call my safe-word!

This is a very cute paddle. I personally love it! It's not very big, so my husband said it might be more of a slapper than a paddle. It's only about a foot long, and the top of the paddle is only about two inches tall. The handle is even thinner at only about an inch tall. The part that says "SLUT" on it, or the actual part you're supposed to do the hitting with is only about four inches long. The rest of the paddle is the handle. The handle has a little hole on the end as well so you can put some rope or something in it, and keeping it hanging up on your wall, or in your dungeon.

The actual paddle part consists of three sheets of material. There is one side of the paddle, which is made of a nice smooth, soft leather. This is the part that doesn't have the writing. It's just a solid piece of leather. I also enjoyed being spanked with this side.

The other side of the paddle also has the smooth, soft leather. This side also has the word "SLUT" carved into it. The letters make holes which is how it would make an impression. The letters look red when you look at them. This is because between the two sides of the paddle is a slip of red paper. I believe this is only to make the paddle look better. If you get too rough the paper could tear though, so watch out!

I'd say this is a really well made paddle. Of course I haven't had any others to compare it to, so I don't know for sure. It does seem like it's going to last a nice long time though. The leather is nice, and the stitching looks good to me as well.

As I said in the "Use" section, I don't have an extremely high pain tolerance, but if I'm in the mood, I can take quite a thrashing. I have a Fluffy Flogger that my husband has hit me with quite hard, and I don't even flinch. However, when he put it all into a nice slap from this paddle I almost yelled our safe-word. I'm going to say that means it does a good job.

I had been expecting this to create more of a thud pain, but it's really got a sting to it. My bottom was sore for quite a while after we had put away the paddle, and it was bright red for a while too. It didn't leave any kind of bruises though, so that was good.

I don't know if I would recommend this to beginners, but I'm not one to judge what people can and can't take. I've never used any other paddles, and I love this. Maybe there are more advanced users that would find this to be cheaply made or something like that.

Leather can be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild soap. I just store it in a toy box.

I really think this was a fantastic paddle. I was a little upset that it didn't leave an impression like I had hoped, but I definitely plan to keep using this. My husband said it also works well as a back scratcher.

After using this I think I'm going to try out more paddles and things like that. I had such a great time using this toy.
