I would agree that if you have particularly sensitive nipples you might want to try a less forceful type of clamp and I would advise taking the initial clamp slow, fortunately the pincer type mechanism on this toy easily allows you to slowly apply pressure though there is no way to adjust the bite like some of the slider type models. They are priced extremely well and for the money you get a product that should last for quite a while.
