Bamboo cane - flogging toy by Spartacus - review by Mistress Jezebel

Use:
After trying whips, paddles, and crops I figured it was time to look into a cane. The bamboo cane was different than any other type of flogging toy I had wielded before; it is a lot more powerful than your average toy so if you aren’t into pain, do not use this. In fact it should be not be called a toy, this powerful instrument could be used for serious punishments, buyers beware and be conscious when you use this tool, you could severely hurt your partner if you were careless with the bamboo cane.


Design/craftsmanship/material/size
The first thing I noticed about the cane when I opened the box was how long it was. They had to send it in a 40+ inch box. If you feel uncomfortable receiving a 40 inch package at your residence you may want to think about ordering a smaller flogging tool. It is a 40 inch cane made with bamboo which I find aesthetically pleasing as well as lovely to run my fingers down. The bamboo feels sturdy, I would not worry about it breaking or splintering as long as you are moderately responsible with it. I could see it breaking perhaps if you stepped on it, or flogged your partner’s shins as hard as you could. The leather handle has a wonderful and sturdy feel. When I grasped it in my hands it was almost like it was a perfect fit. It has metal studs inlayed on it and a D ring so you can hang it. Many people complain that this won’t fit in a “bag” but if you ask me this makes a lovely piece to hang from your wall, a beautiful piece of BDSM art deco for your dungeon or kinkster bedrooms. The top of the cane has a rubber tip. I have found this is nice for when the play slows down, you can sensually rub your sub’s/partner’s genitalia or twirl it in between their buttocks for added pleasure or humiliation.


Performance:
My submissive and I both loved introducing this cane into the bedroom. As stated earlier once you grasp the handle it feels just right. I did find myself having to hold back from using anywhere near full force as even light swats from this cane will leave marks/bruises/welts. From the reaction my submissive gave me this was the most painful tool in my repertoire. After the end of the caning, which was a short session due to the power of this cane, I felt pleased with the marks it had left, and my sub seemed pleased also. Now when I ask him to bring me something to mark him with he comes in with the cane knowing it’s now my favorite tool. This long bamboo cane has a light feel and is easy to wield with surgical precision. If you are not into welts/marks/pain do not buy this, but I have a feeling most of those reading this review and considering buying will be quite pleased with this instrument.

This cane has held up quite a few of the tests I've thrown at it. My slave whimpers every time I bring it out, knowing what's coming his way. It's a wonderful device and I'm SO glad I actually got this cane.
