Wonderful warm up flogger

If you are new to BDSM and want to explore floggers this is the toy for you. If you have been around the block and know what you are doing with them, this is a good warm up or cool down flogger. If you are looking for something that delivers pain, look elsewhere. Want tickle with a little bit of a bite? You have found your perfect match.

Use

This is a good toy for beginners as it doesn't have the weight that regular leather floggers have. If you are new to using floggers you might want to look up techniques as it isn't as easy to use as you would think. There are key areas that you have to avoid due to potential for causing serious injury. Once you have looked into techniques, practice on a pillow or some other inanimate object so that you can get a feel for the weight, the flow of the falls, and how to control where they hit.

Advanced users will find that this makes for a good warm up. It is lighter weight so it doesn't have the sting and pain of a regular flogger. And the faux fur adds in a bit of a "fuzzy" feeling. Think of being flogged with a cross between leather and a teddy bear. It also makes a good cool down flogger for if the scene gets to be a bit much for a Sub. You could also use it for a light tickling sensation to contrast the pain of normal floggers.

Design / Craftsmanship / Size / Material / Features

The falls are made of a suede (the black ones) and a faux fur (the white or pink ones) making this a lighter flogger. Suede is a soft leather based material that is light weight and has an almost velvety feel to it. The faux fur is light weight and tickles, making for a nice contrast when being used. The handle is leather so it is sturdy and not likely to wear out from being held too much.

The average flogger is around 30 inches with about 20 inches for the length of the falls. This one is about 30 inches with 21 inches of falls.

Performance

Being on the receiving end of this flogger I have to say that I was slightly disappointed. I am used to leather or rope floggers that deliver a nice thud or sting depending on use. This one was not able to give me that as it was too light weight even with the most advanced and heavy handed user.

Once I got past the fact of the pain was missing it made for a unique feel. There was a slight bit of a sensual feeling to it combined with the little bit more aggressive feel. The faux fur gave the more sensual feel and also a slight tickle, while the suede gave a feeling that was closer to a regular flogger.

Even though it is light weight and could probable do very little damage with this, there are areas to avoid like the spine, kidneys, face, back of knees, and other soft tissue areas. I would recommend this flogger for the back, legs, buttocks, and breasts.

Care and Maintenance

Avoid getting this flogger too wet or too close to moisture as the faux fur does not deal well with it. Should you manage to get it in some watter I would recommend hanging it in air conditioning as it is cool and the AC draws out the humidity in the air.

If it gets dirty take a damp cloth and wipe it down. Again hang it to dry in a dry environment.

The key to pain free flogging is knowing what you are doing. some materials are better suited to it, but you can have painless with leather is the other party knows how to handle it and also has a good base of communication with you.
