Nipple clamps discontinued

Works great, looks weird

Overall, the decorative aspect of these clamps is a lot better in theory than in practice. That said, though, the clamps feel great and would make an excellent starter set for beginners or a nice addition to an advanced user's complement.

Use

These are decorative tweezer-style clamps that can be used on the nipple or clitoris.

While most decorative nipple clamps are designed for loose, pain-free wear, these clamps are fully functioning tweezer clamps that actually allow for a great deal of pressure, if desired.

Tweezer clamps are good for beginners and advanced users alike, due to the ability to adjust the pressure by sliding the metal ring up and down the length of the tweezer. These clamps in particular are great for beginners, due to the soft rubber tips and the relative ease of sliding the ring. Advanced users will like the fact that the rubber ends are removable, and that the metal ring stays put regardless of how high or low it is pushed up the tweezer area.

Material / Texture

The tweezer part of these clamps is made of a silver-colored metal. Neither the Eden website nor the manufacturer website provides any information about what kind of metal they are, and the package did not provide any specifics either. The metal is relatively soft, as I was able to pit it with my fingernail. The ring and the tweezer arms are both made from the same metal. Since I don't know the kind of metal involved, I would advise anybody with any type of metal allergy avoid this product.

I can confirm that the rubbery ends do not contain any latex, as I did not have any allergic reaction to the product. The rubbery material is very soft and feels great against the skin.

The two beads are standard craft store multi-faceted plastic beads, and there is some additional decorative metal that doesn't seem to be the same kind of metal as the tweezer part.

The manufacturer website does helpfully point out that the clamp is vegan, in case you had any doubts about the origins of metal or plastic.

Shape / Design / Size / Fit

I first tried to use these nipple clamps on my husband, since he is far more experienced with all types of clamps than I am. For whatever reason, these clamps just would not go on his small man-nipples. The ends of the tweezers were too thick and the rubbery ends kept slipping off. We gave up after several attempts.

I then tried them on myself. I started with my nipples. They fit great on my standard-sized female nipples. I loved the way the ends felt, I loved the ease of adjusting the pressure, no complaints. Until I looked in the mirror. These nipple clamps are 4 1/4" long. That means that the little charm at the bottom is 4 1/4" below where your nipple is. Believe me, no woman--especially no woman whose breasts have gone through childbirth and breastfeeding--wants somebody looking at her breasts to have their eyes drawn to a spot 4 1/4" below the nipple area.

I took them off my nipples and tried a clamp on my clitoris. Again, same situation. It felt great and I loved the ease of adjustment, but the little charm at the end just hung awkwardly. There's no way this could be worn during sex, under clothes, or even while trying to walk more than a few steps due to the way the adornments just kind of hang there awkwardly.

A final comment on the design--after five or six uses, I've noticed that the metal ring that slides up and down the tweezers has started to separate. I'm guessing it will wear out at some point, and the metal is so soft that I'm afraid it won't hold up to trying to fix with pliers.
