Wrist cuffs by Spartacus

useful reviewThe feature that originally had me all fired up about the Fleece lined wrist restraints proved to be their downfall in the end. I have fairly small wrists, and it's hard to find a cuff that will actually restrain me, even if I'm being good and not struggling. So imagine my delight when I took these wrist restraints out of the box and saw that they had no rivet to set them permanently (and stupidly) at a circumference that would be too large for me. Finally, the restraints could be tightened snug against my wrists!
Plus, the leather was sumptuous and the big shiny O-ring hardware was attractive, if not entirely practical, for a nice tight "tie" with a metal connector clip. I was excited. I was bound with my wrists neatly cuffed above my head. And then the underside of the restraint slid loose; slack and useless against my arm. The restraint was still buckled, sure, but the cuff itself was rendered entirely ineffective.
As a result, I can only give this product 2 stars. If the person being restrained does not struggle against their binds, then this may be a fine choice. Despite the design flaw, the cuffs have a nice sensuous appeal to them, with silky-smooth leather and fluffy, thick faux fleece. I'm sure the big O-rings could come in handy for some creative rigging, too.
For me, though, a wrist restraint that can't even hold me down just doesn't cut it.
