The Rainbow Night Paddle is both beautiful and effective. The hand stitching on the ornate pattern makes you wonder if you should use it or have it matted and hung in an equally beautiful frame. The craftsmanship is superb.

This leather paddle, measuring at 11 inches in length and five inches across, packs a wallop you don’t expect from such beauty. It is just the right size to accurately hit the sit spot and still give you a little extra to think about. The sting the Rainbow Nights Paddle carries is a marvel in and of itself. This paddle leaves an undercurrent of feeling that I for one did not expect. It had been a good 15 minutes or so in between application of the Rainbow Nights Paddle and my desire to sit and watch a little television when I noticed, as I sat on the couch, the residual sting from the paddling I received.

This is a great paddle for a beginner or perhaps someone who just wants a little extra spice in life. Also would be well used for the occasional attitude adjustment. It is just enough to let you know something is wrong and to help you re-focus on what needs to change.

My only problem with the Rainbow Nights Paddle is the size/length of the handle. This handle was obviously not designed with a large handed person in mind. As my husband has large hands, this was a little uncomfortable for him to use. Not to say that it stopped him at all, just that it was uncomfortable.

Overall I would have to say that the Rainbow Nights Paddle is a quality product. Excellent craftsmanship. Superb detailing. Well textured leather. A definite great addition to a growing family of toys. For the price, the Rainbow Nights Paddle is a deal.
