Trojan pleasures fire & ice - male condom discontinued by Church and Dwight - review by minxx

First of all, I must say, these were not exactly what my fiance and I were expecting.

We tried these a few months ago and haven't really been motivated to try them again. While there was a small amount of sensations going on my end, there wasn't as much going on for him as we expected, or rather, as advertised. They touted these condoms as having a "warming and tingling sensations both inside and out," but these sensations were nothing like fire or ice.

This version of the Trojan Fire & Ice condoms was the first of its kind, which was later followed by the Trojan Ecstasy Fire & Ice condoms. These are just the basic Trojan condoms with a special lubricant that adds a bit of extra stimulation. I am happy to report that this lubricant was never strong enough to burn either of us, but I would still use caution if you find yourself to have sensitive skin. If you have a sensitivity/allergy to latex, of course, steer clear of this one. As with any condom, if you feel the need to add more lubricant (especially one that has more of a warming/tingling aspect), be sure to stick with either water-based or silicone-based lubricants. Using an oil-based lubricant can damage and degrade the latex and completely defeat the contraceptive purpose of the condom.

I think that when we used these, we only got "mind-blowing" orgasms the very first time. After that, much like our attempt with the the "K-Y Yours and Mine," it was hit or miss. We aren't exactly sure why it only worked when it wanted to, but we had more luck with the Ecstasy version of this condom. Don't get me wrong - it is a brilliant concept, but there is definitely room for improvement.
