A Light In The Night
These are the perfect condoms for me. I have yet to find anything better. I'll have to admit, I don't exactly buy them for the glowing aspect. I get them because they're so damn comfortable! And they're really worth the price. Also, they protect against STDs just as well as any condom does, and they do several jobs well. These have so many different functions, and they're so fun. They're my absolutely favorite. I can't think of a single con that I might have for them.Published: January 7, 2011
Pros:
Extremely comfortable in use, lube is amazing, light up again and again, packaging really cool.
Cons:
Absolutely none.
I love that these glow in the dark. This isn't my favorite feature, though. See, when I'm wearing these, I find that they're more comfortable than any other condom. I don't know if it's just me, or it's the lube on these amazing condoms, or if there's something in the latex that they're made of. But they feel great, and what I find funny is that I don't buy them for the glow-in-the-dark aspect. I buy them because they feel awesome. Plus, the glowing part is a fun feature!
I don't know what makes them glow, but I know that these are great condoms. It's too bad that they only come in a package of three. If they came in bigger packages, I wouldn't have to buy them so often! I really love these, and can't recommend them enough.
It only takes 30 seconds to get one of these babies glowing, and only another to get it to light up again. Even after you've put it in the trash can, it'll keep glowing when you turn the light on and off, and it can be pretty amusing.
These are really silky feeling, and the lube is so smooth. I'm assuming it's water-based lube, so it could wash off easily in the shower. Because of this, I don't think you should use these in the shower. Plus I don't think that oil- or silicone-based lubes should be used on a condom. So these probably aren't for shower-use, and they're not waterproof. For this, I'm sorry.
The smell is of slight latex, so if you don't mind that then there shouldn't be a big problem. There isn't for me. The pros definitely outweigh the cons, as you can see, after all. As for sound, I don't think that really applies, unless you want me to talk about the squishy sounds lube can make during sex. I don't think we should go there.
"These are the only glow-in-the-dark condoms intended to help prevent pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. Each condom also comes equipped with a reservoir tip for added comfort, safety and protection." This is what the product page says about these Night Lights, so I think you should know too.
These are unflavored, regular-sized condoms. No condom completely eliminates the risks of pregnancy or sexually transmitted diseases, but any protection will help a bit, these included. If you want them to work at their best, you should keep them at room temperature, as well. I wish I could give you the ingredients in the lube that comes on these condoms, but I couldn't find it on the box or condoms. Grrr!
Directions are included in the box for putting the condoms on, and taking them off. For anyone new to condoms, or sex in general, this can be of major importance. I'm glad that directions are included on every condom box/packaging source, but sometimes it can get annoying.

What Makes Them Glow?
-
Does anybody know what they put in these condoms that makes them glow in the dark? Reviews don't really get into it, and the product page doesn't say. I've never tried them before, either, so I can't really look on the package.

Here's some info on it.

Night Light Condoms-Who wants to try them?
-
Anyone interested in the Night Light condoms? I just requested them as a free assignment and am really excited about reviewing them! First I'm going to try them on my husband Jonathan, and then I'm going to try them on my favorite glass dildo.
Basically I'm looking for some comments, some stories, and overall, some experience. I've only seen one review on them, but I'm hoping that someone out there knows what these are like. Thanks in ahead of time! -
Sounds like a fun find. I've seen neon condoms before but those worked best with a black light.

I'll try!! :D
