Vivid large - male condom discontinued by Ansell - review by Lady Neshamah

This is review number forty- seven in my condom review project.

In the last few months, I have taken on a submissive male lover that is more that a bit of a blessed man. Before our first night together he was told to pick up large sized condoms for the first time and silicone based lube. I was the first lover he had who made him do that and it was the first time in his life that he didn't have any trouble getting condoms on.

I have been trying different large sized condoms on and with him. And the biggest fail of a large condom has been Vivid Large. These are larger sized condoms. They have a regular sensitivity to them and are smooth to the touch. They are made out of high quality latex and come with a water based lube on them. There is three in a box. They do have a little revisor tip for comfort. But they are not compatible with oil based lubes so make sure that you only add water based or silicone based lubes.

I am glad that I didn't pay that for them. The color is a bit giggle inducing and that can ruin a very hot moment a lot of times. "Oh my gods!!!! It's fucking pink."

The biggest problem with Vivid Large is that they soak up lube and natural bodily fluids like most people drink water. Even silicone lube is like nothing. We would have to add more lube every few minutes with water based lubes and only a little bit longer with silicone based lube. This more than ruins a good hot night when you are always having to add more lube. Even he was having to add lube on the inside of the condom to keep his skin from chafing and drying out.

We did use up the box, but so not picking up any more Vivid Large.
