Uncomfortable Condoms for Couples
They were quality condoms designed with women in mind. However, by thinking of her they stopped thinking of him. While I enjoyed these more than other condoms I've tried my husband hated them, and the last time I checked, it takes two to have a good time.

Pros
They're thin, they also are coated with a lubricant that doesn't feel disgusting.
Cons
They're small and can be too tight if the wearer has a larger sized penis.
Being married I feel I don't have much need for condoms. However, there was a brief time last year when I was in between birth control pills and I wanted to make sure we were as protected against pregnancy as possible. No matter my views, condoms are an essential part of safe sex, even when in a committed relationship.
I headed to the grocery store as soon as I filled my new prescription looking for condoms. I remember buying whatever brand was cheapest when I was a teenager years ago, this time around I didn't have to sacrifice quality for quantity. I actually bought a few different brands to see which ones I liked better. I bought five different boxes of condoms that day and I hated them all. I realized that my local supermarket wasn't carrying what I wanted so I turned my interests to online shopping.
I had heard about Elexa condoms|Elexa™ natural feel condoms, they were designed from a woman’s perspective in order to "encourage you to celebrate your own sexuality and pursue a fulfilling, lifelong sexual journey on your terms." I decided to give it a go, no matter how pricey. I wasn't completely sold on them because they were made by Trojan and I've never been a big fan; I've tried their condoms, half a dozen types, and was never fond of any single style.
The condoms arrived a few days later and we were amped up to use them. When my husband had a firm erection he went to put one on. He actually struggled, the condoms were smaller than the ones we had used the night before, significantly smaller. It took him a good two minutes before he had it rolled down over his penis and he looked exhausted when we finally started having sex. I couldn't really tell a difference between these and other condoms. The biggest difference was that these were coated with a water based lubricant that didn't feel sticky or cheap. I don't normally use lube during vaginal intercourse so it was an extra feature that I didn't really need. These ones were also significantly thinner. Thin is a good thing, I like to feel as close to my husband as possible, when there's a barrier between us we lose some of the intimacy and I hate having to feel removed from my partner. As far as the "natural" feel goes, Trojan did a good job creating a condom that came so close to feeling like bareback sex.
While I enjoyed using these more than the other kinds I bought previously I don't think I'll use them again. They felt better for me but were too small to be comfortable for my husband and took away from the sexual experience rather than making it better.

Follow-up commentary
5 months after original review
Looking back over this review and remembering my experience, I realize how unfair it is to rate these as a 3 for consumers. These condoms are certainly not worth the price or the effort. While they came pre-lubed and were thinner than most other condoms I've tried, they were small and would only fit men that aren't very girthy or long. You don't want to go out looking for condoms with the thought in your head "so, I should only buy these if I'm small(er)." Save yourself the trouble and the heartbreak and look for something designed for couples, not for women, because it seems with these men were left out of the equation entirely.
