Trojan Fire and Ice condoms are made with a special dual-action lubricant on both the inside and outside of the condom that provides warming then cooling sensations for both partners. They are made of latex with a reservoir tip and a special shape that has extra room around the head.

I really do not like these condoms. I do not like them at all. Let me first mention that I always use condoms and lube, so this has nothing to do with my being uncomfortable with condoms in general; it's specifically these condoms. The Fire and Ice lubricant is definitely there, and you can definitely feel it. At first, there was a pleasant warming sensation, but this quickly escalated to a burning feeling. It was not very sexy. A bit later, they cooled down which was a welcome change from the burning but still wasn't that great because a cooling sensation in a wet place just feels cold and wet and again, not very sexy. We both felt this. My boyfriend likened these to Ben-Gay on a condom.

On top of that, Trojan condoms are not among the thinnest on the market, and I disliked that aspect of these condoms as well as the strong latex smell. A condom feels different than no condom, but I feel like you can definitely feel these. I prefer thinner condoms that are tighter fitting like Beyond 7. The extra room around the head only added extra material that I could feel more, and my boyfriend didn't really notice any difference in sensation with the extra room.

To be fair, however, I have heard from some people that they really liked these, and so I feel it is probably a matter of personal preference. If you like a warming lubricant, you can definitely feel it here, and so this might save you a step. My advice would be to buy these in a mixed pack first (such as the Trojan Pleasure Pack) to see if you like them, and make sure you and your partner aren't too sensitive for them.
