These Trojan fire and ice condoms smell like, well, they smell like condoms. And icy hot. I did not taste these because I really don't want anything like icy hot in my mouth. I know what you are thinking- why does she want it in her vagina?! It is always fun to play with different sensations during sex, so we thought this would be something fun to try. We thought it would be a little cooling and a little warming and a lot of excitement. It was more than a little cooling/warming (for her), and it wasn't that exciting either. If you like a burning sensation in your nether region, then by all means give this product a try. It burned me like fire and held on for what seemed like ages. In reality it was only about 45 minutes all together, but when your vagina is on fire that is an eternity.
I tried to find the ingredients used to make the fire and ice sensation on these condoms. We got these in a variety pack and the ingredients aren't on there anywhere. I have tried for 3 days going to Trojan's website to search for the ingredients, but the website will not work for me for whatever reason. I did find on the internet in several places where a lot of people were irritated by these condoms and could not find an ingredient list anywhere.
We rarely use condoms. We are married and are not worried about STI's. We do use the extra protection around the time that I ovulate for added insurance against pregnancy. Trojan is always our condom choice, and it still will be regardless of the verdict on this particular condom. Since these still do protect against STI's and pregnancy I will still give it 2 stars.

Her perspective: It was an immediate sensation. It was subtle at first, a bit of a tingle. With every thrust of his penis the sensation got a little more intense. After about 10 minutes I was ready for him to hurry and be done cause boy was my vagina on fire. The friction was making the sensation way more intense than I'd have liked. It was in use for 15 minutes and the effect was still causing burning tingles until about 20 minutes after we were finished, despite having taken a shower. I will say that my vagina does get irritated with certain toys and I need to really stick with toys that fall between a 7 and a 10 on the safety scale. I can use others if I really wanted to, but much thrusting will bring irritation. That could be part of the issue with these condoms. Latex is a safety rating of 4. Latex isn't usually an issue for me (we only use condoms occasionally), but the ingredients used to create the "fire and ice" sensation can cause irritation in sensitive areas. Either way, a burning vagina is not fun, unless you like that sort of thing. It took away a bit of the enjoyment I should have had. With 2 young kids we don't get to have sex nearly as often as we'd like, so it is a huge bummer that the condoms ruined the mood for me. Maybe I should hold a grudge.

Nope! I don't like my bits on fire. Never again will I use these! They went straight into the trash!

That's not a reason to laugh at you! Many people use condoms on their toys to both protect the toy, the user (if the toy is of questionable material) and provide extra sensation.
