Mint, mint, and more mint
This is the perfect way to play with a woman that you don't know that well and still do it safely. Think of a dental dam as safe sex toy that everyone that likes women should have on hand.Published: January 25, 2011
Pros:
Thin, tastes good
Cons:
A bit big in size
I have never used any kind of dental dam other than the ones that the dentists will use from time to time to keep the mouth dry as they work. Yes, I am a bisexual woman, but when I would eat a woman out, it was always with someone that I knew was clean and safe. And I am very much not into performing oral on someone's ass. That idea is just such a turn off to me.
But I thought it may be a good idea to have one around, just for good measure. You know, it's better to be safe than sorry and have it in my purse.
The non-lubricated latex dental dam is the perfect thing for having a barrier between vaginal and anal secretions while performing oral on someone. It should be in anyone's safe sex kit, especially if you are going to an all out pansexual party. And that's where I actually got to use this.
The very thin latex is just right for going down on a woman. It's thin enough that she can feel everything that you do to her just as well as if you aren't using one. But you may want to add a bit of a light lube because she won't have any of your saliva to add to the play for her. It will reduce chafing on her labia.
The ones that Eden carries are mint-flavored, and it's serious mint. It tastes like the very strong mint gum that you can find anywhere or breath mints. For me, this is great since I love mint. It's about eight by six inches in size. It's a bit big for me but I can see where some people would want it that size, just not me.
I just wish that Eden carried these in more than just pack of the one or I would be getting more of them.

Follow-up commentary
2 months after original review
I can't say that I use dental dams that much, but the fact that Latex Dental Dam only had one in the package, it's kind of hard to keep liking it if you don't have any more around.

Binder help

Anybody have any helpful reviews /tips on binders? Anybody have a bad experience with underworks?
-
Well, I have two Underworks binders and I don't like them that much because of the sizing. I'm between a small and a medium so while the medium one doesn't keep me as effectively flat and the small looks great, the small is way too uncomfortable to wear on a regular basis.

I have used Underworks and T-kingdom and I like my underworks one much better than the ones from t-kingdom.

Are there any latex free dental dams?
-
Latex and I do not get along at all. Does anyone know where I can find dental dams that are latex free? Thanks in advance!

flufflerompWell, I don't know about dental dams, but I read that Saran wrap can be used in place of a dental dam, I suppose also to cut the costs as well. Only problem I would guess is that it sticks together very easily. That's as close to a specific dental dam that I know of, but there are other options such as cutting off the tip of a condom and then cutting it up the shaft towards where the tip had been, and also using a nonlatex glove by cutting off the fingers and up the side of the palm. Tongue can go into the thumb spot of the glove. I only read about the last two but I think the condom one would be the best bet, and there are non-latex gloves out there for the other. Flavored lube may help out with the taste on the condoms, but I'm not sure if there are flavored non-latex ones. It may also help to look on online for other alternatives as well. I hope this helped some! :D I haven't tried these but I have read about them, again online is a good source for other options and as double checks for these as well to. These might not be specific dental dams, but they probably are things that you have around your house or apartment. -

How do you use it?
-
Do you just use it like a condom for oral purposes by putting it over the body parts you want it to cover, like a sheet? I've read the only review on it, but want to know more. Thank you.
-
Yes, you've got it :) You place the dam on the area you intend to lick, etc., and it acts as a barrier. I recommend putting a little lube at least on the side that is touching the receiver, so it will more easily stick where it's placed.

Interesting..

Thank you for viewing Latex dental dam – dental dams review page!

Thanks for the review. You never know, these could come in handy someday for us.
So that's what dental dams are for... Ah...
Thanks for the review.
Is it mint on both sides or just one?
both sides are minty
Bigger is better when you're a big girl. Not having to worry about coverage is awesome. AND! If the size is an issue, with a little prep, you can cut a dam in half. Unlike a condom, it'll still work.
Thanks for the review!
I have a question if you don't mind ) Did you try it only while giving oral or receiving as well? Does the mint adds any chill feelings to the receiver?
i have tried it with both ways. when receiving you don't feel anything extra. no cooling or tingling.
Thanks for the answer )
