Not for the typical latex user.
This was a good condom, just not somethng that I would use regularly. The cost of the condoms can drain your bank account quickly if you like sex, and then add the bizarre smell that this condom has...It's just not what i would consider arousing. If you have a allergy to latex, I imagine this would be a godsend, but it's definitely not for the latex user.Published: March 8, 2010

I was a bit tentative when my boyfriend came home with Naturalamb Condoms. I hadn't heard much about them, but the whole idea of using lamb membrane as protection wasn't what I would call exciting, but I was still in the mood.
When we got into bed, I grabbed one and opened it up. I was shocked by the smell of the condom...I can't really pin down what exactly it smelled like, but it definitely didn't smell like a latex condom. When I got it fully out of the packaging, the condom was doused in an excessive amount of lube, making it hard to roll down my boyfriend's penis. Once I was finally able to roll the condom all the way down I was taken aback by the piece of string that looked like it was holding it on his penis. During sex, in the back of my mind all I could think about was "Is this condom going to fall off?"
Thankfully the condom did not fall off, and the "piece of string" that was holding the condom in place actually made for an easier time taking the condom off, and the excessive amount of lube allowed us to go a lot longer than we are able to with latex condoms, which was a major plus for me. As for the smell, it was easy to ignore once we got going, but whenever he took his penis out of me, which happened a few times so I could check that it hadn't fallen off, the smell was very strong.
All in all I wouldn't use this condom on a regular basis. My boyfriend said it felt a lot better than latex condoms, but with the price of these condoms so high, it's difficult to have sex often when you're having to shell out 20 bucks for 12 condoms.

Still not my favorite condom. The smell still gets to me and since i haven't won the lottery, I still can't really afford a ton of them

it should be noted that since these are a natural membrane they are technically porous and are not as effective a barrier as latex, still, they're better than nothing and grip better than vinyl.
