I'm a fan. I'll state that up front. I carry extras with me when I travel to parties and conventions with the specific purpose of handing them out to folks who haven't tried them yet. So if I sound like I'm proselytizing this prophylactic, it is because I am.

I'm sensitive, but not allergic to, latex. So when I started dating several men who needed larger sized condoms, I resigned myself to dealing with the after effects of using latex condoms. Previous non-latex options were always tight and uncomfortable for the super tall (and proportionately hung) men in my life.

Skyn condoms changed that. These things can s-t-r-e-t-c-h like nothing I've seen, not just getting longer (like most condoms will) but wider as well. Yeah! Problem solved! This also makes them excellent for use on even your biggest bedroom toys. The fact that they come in a sexy black and gold box doesn't hurt their case.

The Skyn condom is also thinner than many other condoms I've used without sacrificing strength (I've never had one break), which means more heat transfer. I'm a fan if only for the giving of blowjobs. I quickly learned to put them on with my mouth, something I had previously had difficulty with, and grew to love the taste of them. Yes I can taste them, but only very mildly (I suspect that is the lube), but they won't leave you with 'balloon breath' like latex condoms do.

The only downside we've found to these is that if your partner is not the type to stay hard throughout your intercourse session, the Skyn condom can slip off, as once these condoms have been stretched they tend to stay that way. This means if your partner softens while inside you, the Skyn condom can slip off. I've only had this happen with one partner (and I've used these condoms with about a dozen different men), but it has been a near-consistent issue with him, so your mileage may vary. Even so, I still use these for oral sex with him as I prefer the taste and being able to actually feel him through them (and having him better feel the warmth and movement I'm providing).

I still keep other condoms around but only because of partner preference. If I had my way, almost all my condoms would by the Skyn condom. If they ever come out with a non-lubricated version, I'll be in heaven.
