Slick and flavorful
These Durex: Tropical-flavored condoms are good to have around and work well for blow jobs. The man can feel everything right though them, as they would a standard condom, and they smell and taste great, even if one is a bit odd smelling. The size and reservoir tip are sufficient for most men. These condoms are a fun way to add to what would be run-of-the mill sex and spice things up a little bit.Published: December 30, 2010

This was a "Why the hell not?" purchase.
The condoms come in a little cardboard box that can fit into a small purse. There is three of them in the box.
The condoms are smooth with no texture at all and are made out of high quality latex, so if you have any allergies with latex, pass on these. They come in a few different colors: I ended up with pink, orange, and yellow ones. I have heard that you can end up with other colors/flavors, though. The lubes on them (which is water-based) come in different flavors and scents: The pack that I received had strawberry (which was a little odd smelling and tasting), orange (which smelled and tasted like orange candy), and pineapple (which smells a bit odd, more like lemons but it tasted like pineapple). I didn't notice if there was flavor on the inside of the condom, but I didn't think to try.
The condoms are a standard thickness. The lube is just the right amount if it is used for penetration right away, but goes away if you start with a blowjob; the flavor lasts only though a blow job. They are average-sized, and none of my male partners had any trouble with them fitting at all.
I received a variety of reactions from my partners. Some of them loved them and get them all the time for themselves and for their partners. One said, "Ugh, that smells fucking weird. I'll use it for the blowjob, but that's it." However, he used it through the whole session. The one thing that seems to be a unified reaction is that they loved the little reservoir tip at the end of the condom. It made things comfortable when they would finally go off, but was a bit small for one of my partners.
The one draw back, other than the strawberry being odd smelling and tasting, was that I had one totally rip apart on me. Totally split right before he went off. He felt it split, so he was able to stop in time. If or when one of these condoms snaps, the man will feel it.
Just a few things to remember: Always keep condoms in a cool, dry place. Toss them of they look a bit brittle or are torn. Only use them with water- or silicone-based lubes. Oil based lubes can really degrade the latex and then the whole reason for the condom goes out the door.

When I have picked up more Durex Tropical condoms I have ended up with a few different flavors. It's kind of a roulette with them. Still a lot of fun.

Pack of 12?

Does anyone know when EF will sell the pack of 12 that these are sold in? It would be much easier to get them in bulk. I buy them in packs of 12 at Wal-Mart in my area, but I'd like to give Eden the support. Any ideas?

interesting though i admit i never really had a need for flavored condoms. i won't do anything with someone i don't trust to be clean and if i do trust him...well...why wear a raincoat in the shower, right?
