These Condoms Are Extra Awesome

The Durex Extra Sensitive condoms are definitely worth trying at least once. They are reliable and affordable, as well as more thin and comfortable than some other condoms.

I have to say, the Durex Extra Sensitive condoms are definitely one of my favorites. They are thin enough to allow my boyfriend to feel more, yet aren’t so thin that they break easily. They are also pretty inexpensive, and most places seem to carry at least one type of Durex condom.

These latex condoms fit him pretty comfortably. They look like they would fit up to a 7” long penis and still have enough room in the reservoir tip for ejaculation. They also have a decent amount of lubrication on them, though I occasionally find myself needing a bit more. I tend to put a couple of drops of lube inside the condom before he puts it on, too, to make it feel better. This also would help with any friction that could break the condom.

I haven’t noticed much of a latex smell to these condoms at all, though I usually wash myself up a bit after we are done. I haven’t noticed any irritation from using these condoms, but I don’t really have sensitive skin at all.

You should always use a condom during any sort of sexual intercourse, and use a new one each time. Condoms prevent pregnancy and the contraction of STDs when they are properly used.

I definitely recommend trying these condoms out at least once. Sometimes a guy won’t fully enjoy sex with the condoms, since he can’t feel anything. I’ve been in situations where the guy will want to not use one because of not feeling enough. Rather than give in to pressure, you should find a condom that works out better for both of you, or a new partner. They are also good for playing with toys if you share them with other people.

Out of the few boxes I have used, only one condom broke, which was because we had way too much friction between us. I would make sure to have a backup plan in case the condom breaks, such as birth control pills, or Plan B.
Experience
I definitely recommend putting a few drops of lubricant inside of the condom before it is put on. This can help keep the condom from breaking during use.
Follow-up commentary
I haven't actually used these condoms with my boyfriend lately. I have found myself preferring the Durex Love condom, which he says feels like an improved version of the Extra Sensitive. It has better shaping around the head, as well as being a thinner condom. I still love these condoms, though.

Were you able to find any other dimensions? You don't have to guess, they are online.

Good base review.

If by dimensions you mean width, thickness of the condom, length, tip room, I didn't include those because I saw that that was covered in other reviews. I wanted to try to get my own input up on here rather than just have a copy of someone else's review.

  • Thinner condoms
    • What are your preferences for natural feel condoms? Does the thinner material scare you at all? Do you feel as safe?
    • I did a review on Trojan Ultra Thins which are very similar to the Durex extra sensitive. Since trying them out I am in my 6th 36 count box, doing the math thats over 150 uses. Not once have I had one break, rip or tear so I have to give the Trojans a high safety review. I feel perfectly safe using thin condoms and so have any girls that I've been with. Thin condoms are one of those things that I feel you don't notice the thickness of until you go back to the regulars, then you miss these.
