Trojan ultra pleasure - male condom discontinued by Church and Dwight - review by ~LaUr3n~

This old version of the Ultra Pleasure condom by Trojan was purchased in a multi-pack that is no longer being manufactured by Trojan. It may still be in stores, but if it is-it won't be for long. Also, this regular lubed version is being phased out and the new spermicidal lubricant version is now found in stores. Some of Trojan condoms have great shapes for larger guys even if they are not the Magnum line. The Ultra Pleasure condom is one of these products.

Compared to other condoms:

Average condoms have a thickness of 0.0027". This condom is the same average thickness. It will feel like what your are probably already used to but even better because of the rest of the design, which makes up for the thickness.

The average condom is 7.5" long. These are slightly longer at 7.67". I do not recommend this for a penis longer than 7.125" because the base is not snugger than the shaft width. The reservoir tip is larger than most and comfortably allows for about two-three teaspoons of semen.

Average condom head width is 2.125". This condom has some major head room at 2.71". The idea is that the less restriction there is to the sensitive packed nerve ending, the better the sensation. This is great for larger guys, plus it makes the condom have a more natural shape that the usual straight form. The contoured shape increases friction. If you don't have a large head this may be TOO much room and feel baggy.

Average shaft and base width is 2", the Ultra Pleasure is a bit bigger at 2.12". This little fit of penis room makes a big difference, especially when paired with the larger head. The base width doesn't form fit to the base of the penis so be careful of slippage if you are smaller.

The water based lubrication is mediocre and more needs to be added in most cases. Make sure to add more to reduce the chance of breakage due to dry friction. The smell is noticeable and lingers on the skin. It will remain there until washed off.

The condoms come in paper covered foil wrappers. Some of the packages offered 14 instead of 12 condoms per pack, but they are probably pretty rare to find now that the condom has changed in current production. Instead you may need to look for the new spermicidal ones that come in a package that looks like this.

I have never had a Ultra Pleasure condom break. Keep them at room temperature areas away from direct sunlight and never in a wallet. They don't keep well til their expiration, so I suggest using them within 6 months of purchasing.The lubrication gets progressively worse with time.

I found these condoms to be a lot cheaper if bought in stores, but you can buy them many places online. They are carried by Walgreens and CVS if you want to buy them in store.

I am giving these condoms 4 stars because they fit my guy's above average member nicely. His head was not restricted and I felt his natural shape. They don't keep til their expiration date and the smell isn't pleasant.

Compared to the many other condoms I have tried since writing this review, this is still probably the best spermicidal condom I have found. However, now that they are warming, I don't want to use them. Plus with the fact that they don't keep til their expiration date, it makes me not feel that they are worth buying for the amount of times I would use them. I like to use a spermicidal condom for when my birth control cycle is on the iron pill whether or not I am on my period. These do the trick for that, but warming is not my favorite thing.
