Spreader with triangles review

I rate this toy 4 stars, because of the size of the triangles and concern over tearing, but do give major props for the ability to be used in countless creative ways that would not be achieved using a run of the mill spreader bar.

The spreader bar with triangles is different from any spreader bar I've seen or had experience with before. For those unfamiliar, spreader bars are great for when you want to limit another person's movement. Most spreader bars I'm familiar with are single pieces of metal with a ring on each side to attach to restraints on a person's wrists or ankles. This spreader bar is covered in leather and has triangular rings down the length of the bar. This allows a variety of creative uses. I'm personally very excited about using it to clip a person's wrists and ankles to the same place, leaving them immobile and their more sensitive areas such as ass and genitals exposed to whatever torturous ministrations I please. The particular way this bar was used on me involved me being on my hands and knees while being used as a table. My wrists were attached to the bar and the person using me as a table stood on the bar to make sure I could not move.

Although I imagine this was not the original intent of this toy, the spreader bar also makes a very interesting impact implement. It makes a very satisfying noise on a person’s ass or thighs, but does not carry a particularly heavy blow.

I was concerned about the design of this toy. The person I was playing with had a very difficult time trying to attach other things to the triangle rings. They are very small and can't hold very much. It seemed to hold up fine during the course of playing with it, but I get the feeling this toy would not be able to take more than a handful of sessions before tearing or coming apart.

Overall, I rate this toy 4 stars, because of the size of the triangles and concern over tearing, but do give major props for the ability to be used in countless creative ways that would not be achieved using a run of the mill spreader bar.

Since you've had some time with this bar, I'd love to know how it has held up for 2 years! Do the triangles tear out? Also, can you lay them flat if they are not in use? I was thinking this would be a fun bar to use on the bed, having the person I'd by restraining lay back on it while their wrists are attached to it.

I'd love to see a follow-up review on this toy. I wouldn't want to spend the money on it if it were to fall apart as the reviewer originally suggested.
