California Exotic has put out a line of covers that will probably start becoming a trend. For singles, or people who don't share their toys, you can use you vibrators and not worry about the mess afterward with these! They are thick, and designed for be used for vibrators that have a punch.

useful review
I was somewhat skeptical of the toy covers. They sounded as beneficial as condoms have been in the past. The back of the cute folded toy cover holder, explained it was for vibrators. Well, that got me thinking, why is it best for vibrators? However, I was pleasantly surprised after I ran a series of tests. I bought a box of condoms (I don't use them for my toys since I clean and don't share), and got to work.

Test One: I used a regular condom with the new Symphony Interlude I got for review. Since it is TPR and can get some lint on it, I wanted a quick clean up. I used a basic non-lubricated condom (Trojan), and used the highest setting. First I went around the clit, really working it, and actually was somewhat surprised that 20 minutes in there was a slight tear in the condom! I opted to put another one on, and I was able to orgasm before any noticeable damage to the condom. Thinking that perhaps it might have been a fluke condom, I repeated the test with the same result; there was some noticeable stretch, and faint getting-ready-to-tear look at a certain spot.

Test Two: The next week I used the toy cover, and I didn't have to worry about tears or anything. I was able to keep going without switching out for a condom for the full 45 minutes it took to get a satisfying orgasm. However, these, like condoms, are a one-time use thing.

The differences between the condom and the toy cover are simple: the toy cover is thicker, to provide resilience, since the vibrations can cause micro-tearing on the latex. The thin barriers of condoms, for the stimulation of the male, provides easy tearing under such vigorous vibrations on a high setting, strong vibrator. Adding insertion, the tears may have come even sooner, however I did not use vaginal insertion for this one.

It is not needed to buy this sort of product. However, if you are primarily a vibrator user, don't really like condoms, and don't want to fuss about when you're trying to reach an orgasm, opt to purchase the toy covers. The size I got was a large, used for basic dildos and vibrators such as Symphony Interlude, and the small size for pocket rockets such as my Apollo (my review for it will come soon!).
Experience
I really enjoyed the fact that I could keep going without an interruption, and that it was exactly made for its intended purpose: to use with vibrators.

Good idea to test them both. Another review of toy covers suggests these cannot be used as condoms because these are -more- likely to tear.

What activities would you recommend using these for (since you mention they are not necessary).

Because they are thicker than condoms did you notice any loss of sensation?

Also, the image on the review says standard size not large. Was there a mix up?

@Adriana No, this was basically me mixing the language of "large" and "standard" by accident.

I did not feel a decreased sensation from the vibrator at all, and they are not significantly thicker than condoms but they are not translucent like condoms.

I wondered what the difference was between these and condoms. Very thorough review! I imagine these will be quite popular for ppl who share their toys.
