O2 Niagara - strap-on dildo by Tantus - review by Dame Demi

After all I have heard about their products, I leapt at the chance to try out one of Tantus’s quality silicone dildos. I chose the 02 Niagara both for its unusual appearance and the fact that it comes with a bullet--I am a girl who likes her vibrations! As it turns out, I was definitely not disappointed with my first Tantus product!

I did have a little trouble with the bullet when the toy first arrived. First it did not work at all; then it worked fitfully; now it seems to work fine. My old “Leave it alone and maybe it will fix itself” method of repairing things seems to have worked for me this time! (Though actually it probably just needed to cool down from sitting out on my porch in the TX summer heat.) The bullet is listed as “pulsating” in the description, but mine just provides steady one-speed vibrations. The vibrations are strong enough to carry through the length of the toy, though they are somewhat weak by the time they reach the tip. They are quite powerful at the base, though. The bullet is also fairly quiet when placed in the toy.

The dildo itself is amazing. It is very attractive, with a translucent white layer of silicone covering a firm purple core for a dual-toned, somewhat ethereal, appearance. The outer layer of the silicone feels incredibly soft, luxurious, and realistic. This soft, skin-like layer, combined with the firm core in the middle, made washing this dildo feel remarkably like giving my husband a real-life hand job! One downside is that the soft silicone surface attracts dust, lint, and pet hair like a magnet, but this all washes off easily with soap and water or a quality toy cleaner.

Coming in at eight insertable inches, this toy is fairly long, with medium thickness (1 ½“ diameter). The head is tapered at the very tip, then flares at the base of the head for a satisfying pop as it enters you. The front of the shaft is molded with cascading waves that feel wonderful when it is used for thrusting as they caress the upper wall of your vagina. Because of the softness of the silicone, neither the prominent head nor the waves caused me the slightest discomfort; quite the opposite, in fact--I found them incredibly pleasurable!

The shaft of this, while firm, is also flexible. This fact, combined with the molded waves and bullet in the base, actually allowed for an amazing amount of clitoral stimulation--more than I have ever received from an insertable toy without a clitoral stimulator. By bending this toy so the vibrating molded waves stroked my clit with each thrust, I was actually able to orgasm without any additional clitoral stimulation--rare for me in a realistic vibrator!

This dildo does have a flared base, so it is compatible with harness use or anal penetration (for the more advanced anal artist--this thing is not small!). The bullet is theoretically removable for cleaning, though I have a difficult time getting mine out, even when I use lube with it (water-based lubes only!). Still, this is a remarkable quality product, and I will definitely recommend Tantus to those looking for quality silicone toys!
