Before we discovered Eden Fantasys, my husband and I were a "plain vanilla" couple when it came to sex. We're both in our 50's and found that sex once a week was ok and while it was often humdrum, at least we loved each other and that was what mattered.

When I discovered this site, our humdrum vanilla world changed almost instantly. We had just rediscovered vibrators after trying one almost 30 years ago and hating it. After a while of using vibrators, we wondered what dildos would be like and started to consider them. The more we learned about them, the more we were intrigued.

We decided to buy this harness because we wanted to move into actually using dildos and I knew that it would be easier for him to thrust a dildo if he was wearing a harness. We aren't into "double penetration" but I think that this review can help you anyway to see if this will work for you.

This harness appears to be designed more for a man to use, although I suppose a woman could use it also. There is a cock ring for him to put his penis through and interchangeable O-rings that you can use in different sizes. The two metal rings are 1.5" and 2.0" and the rubber ring is 1.75" in diameter.

The harness itself is designed to be worn like a G-strap with the two rings on the front and one ring in the back where all the straps come together.

Now that I've shown you what the harness looks like, let me try to explain how we used it.

My husband loves to stimulate my clitoris with his penis and I love it too. After playing with vibrators, he felt like I might enjoy a dildo that was larger than he is (or at least the same size). We had been debating on it back and forth for a bit when I was asked if I would like to do a descriptive review of a dildo - specifically Pipedream's Fetish Fantasy Elite curved 6" dildo. Well, that gave us the motivation to go ahead and buy a harness so we could try the dildo with a harness. The fact that this harness also comes with Sportsheet's Sedeux Flare dildo made it even better.

Our plan was to have my husband use the cock ring to put his penis on top for stimulating my clitoris and then use the dildo to stimulate my G-spot with vaginal penetration.

The harness itself is basically made up to 3 different types of materials. The O-rings are metal and are easy to clean by simply wiping them down. One O-ring is rubber so that is the second type of material. It too can be wiped down with a wet cloth with soap.

The third material is what makes up the harness straps. This is a 1/2" diameter nylon product that is much like the material used in the Sportsheets restraint straps I have. The nylon is not stretchy and is pretty firm but it isn't uncomfortable to wear. I would think you could spot clean it if you needed or toss it in the washing machine in a lingerie bag so it doesn't get all wrapped up with other clothing. This is a textured material but I am not sure if you can see it in the close-ups or not. My husband didn't find that the texture bothered him.

I also want to point out that the silicone dildo that comes with the kit is made of food-grade material that is hypo-allergenic, latex free, non-porous and phthalates free. It is 5.5" in length with 5" being insertable and it is 1.25" in diameter. If you use this while playing with the harness, please make sure to only use water-based lubes and when you're done, you can clean it by boiling it, throwing it in the dishwasher or cleaning it with soap and water. I would like to point out that the dildo is anal-safe also. It does not have any texture and is a very smooth dildo. I liked the silicone but would have preferred a larger item with texture.

We really like the design of this harness because we can adjust the cock ring so that hubby can have the top ring or the bottom ring. We also like the fact that it has multiple sizes of O-rings and can be used with many toys. Once he got used to it, it wasn't uncomfortable to wear, although it was interesting for him to wear a product that is designed like a G-string.

What we didn't like about it was how long it took us to figure it out - every time we went to use it. It had been a while since the first time we used it and a few of the parts had to be located because they'd been moved.

However, once we remembered how to use it, it only took about five minutes to get it set up again and we decided that we were just going to try and fold it like underwear and put it in a drawer or something so it would be ready to go whenever we wanted to use it again.

The straps are adjustable and made out of nylon. They aren't real stretchy and remind me of the restraints in our bondage kit from Sportsheets. They are 1/2" wide.

There are so many ways to adjust this that I am not sure I can describe them all. Let's just say that if your hip is under 60", you should be able to find a way to wear this.

We were very pleased with the size and it fit my husband quite well. In the pictures I'm sharing, our daughter is wearing it over shorts. She is smaller than he is in the hips and it fits her quite well too.

As I stated above, I really feel like as long as your hips are 60" or smaller, you should be able to wear this. It might take playing with it a bit to get the fit right, but it will be worth it in the long run.

So we put on the dildo and we played for a bit. I was not happy and we took a break. The harness was doing a great job, however, the first dildo we tried just wasn't doing anything for me. He switched out the dildo for another one and we tried again. This time, using the dildo that came with the harness, I enjoyed it somewhat more.

But truth be told - it wasn't something that made me go "oh, let's keep on doing this every night this way".

However, I'm giving this four stars and I'll tell you why.

The harness itself performed like a champ. If it wasn't so hard to figure out how to put it on, I'd be giving it 5 stars.

The problem was with the choice of the dildos we had. I need a bigger toy and we didn't have one.

Now that I'm writing this review and we've been talking about the harness again, I'm getting pretty excited because we are going to try some larger dildos and see if those work better. We suspect that they will because the harness worked great and we both loved the stimulation of my husband using his penis on my clitoris and lips.

So I guess what I'm trying to say is that the harness itself does a great job of holding the toys and being comfortable to wear and adjustable as needed. The problem we had was not with the harness but with the size of the dildos we had.
