The Goodfella is a charming realistic dildo made from Vixen Creations' VixSkin material. VixSkin is a 100% silicone product which means it can be sterilized for use between partners or orifices. What sets VixSkin apart from regular silicone is the dual density. The inner core of this toy is made from a stiff silicone while the outer layer is made from a squishier product. Together they create a dildo with a very realistic feel. The toy is soft like human flesh, but stays hard just like a good synthetic cock should. Also, the Goodfella is fun because the side of the cock closest to the balls has a ridge of the harder material. This makes it feel even more like a real dick with that hard vein up along the bottom of it. The head of the dildo and the balls are made completely from the softer material, adding again to its realism. The hard silicone comprises the base of the toy, making it sturdy for wearing in a harness.

Unlike my first VixSkin toy, the Lone star, the Goodfella has dimensions that are much closer to your average package. At 1 3/4" diameter with 5 1/2" insertable length, it looks and feels a lot more like the kind of penis that one could be born with. And this toy just begs to be used in a harness. Because of its unique construction, the balls hang freely and are completely visible and three dimensional when worn in a strap-on. There's no flat side to the balls like you find with many realistic cocks. This is a great dildo for those looking to sport a dick that will give that "real effect." The base of the toy is not completely round. To insert it into an O-ring just squish the two sides together and squeeze it through base-first. The base also works as a great handle for manual use!

The Goodfella has a nice little curve to it on the shaft. It's enough to make it easier to hit the urethral sponge for ladies, and I'd imagine the gents would love it for P-spotting. Believe me, if I ever find myself with a male partner who wants to get pegged, I want to use this toy on him! That said, the curve does straighten out a bit when the toy is held horizontally. The details and texturing are exactly as pictured on the product page. It's sculpting is realistic but not as amazingly detailed as the Lone star. I got my Goodfella in the caramel colour, which is a little darker and more tan than the product picture.

VixSkin toys require a little extra care with storage. It's best to store them either in their original container (this one comes in a rectangular plastic clam shell), or standing up right by the base of the toy. You also don't want to let them touch other toys while they are being stored, as the outer layer of the VixSkin is a bit more prone to degradation than regular silicone. I find this extra care worth the trouble, as VixSkin is a wonderful material to play with and totally body safe! This toy can be sterilized by boiling, a 10% bleach solution, or being run through the top rack of the dishwasher. It can also be washed with warm water and mild soap for those times when sterilization is not required.
