Commando - double strap harness by ASLAN Leather - review by Andrew1992

This is a great harness for beginners. It's relatively low priced, but still very high quality, and also provides lots of options for people to figure out what they like best in a harness. The best thing about the Commando is the versatility. With a few adjustments of the leather snaps, you can easily make the harness into a two strap jock style (my personal favorite) or you can make it into a single strap bikini style. Either one will work perfectly fine for strap-on sex, but people just prefer different set ups. This harness is a great choice to figure our what you like!

The Commando is made of high quality Aslan leather. The leather of the harness is ideal. Aslan just has a great product. The harness is soft and an ideal strap thickness. I never had any problem with chafing or anything of the sort. With some cheap harnesses, trust me, chafing is a pretty big problem, and it's terrible.

Leather is great for harnesses, but does take some precautions. The harness should not be used in water, as the dyes will come off and bacteria could easily grow in the wet leather environment. You definitely don't want that happening. Other than that though, leather is pretty fantastic!

Aslan makes really great products. They have a great reputation for a reason; I've never gotten anything from Aslan that I wasn't very happy with. The harness is set up in a pretty standard format, with a waistband of leather and two (or one, depending on your arrangement) straps that go between your legs to afix the dildo to your mons. It's pretty close fitting, and is also highly adjustable. The waistband is very adjustable, along with the leg straps. It may take a few minutes to get the harness adjusted to your body the first time, but after that, you're all set! The harness does use an O-ring and they are easily exchanged if you are using a particularly large or small toy that won't fit in a standard O-ring.

The best selling point of the Commando to me is the customization. It is easy to adjust the straps and buckles and get the harness to fit you pretty close to perfectly. It is adjustable to a wide range of sizes and unique configurations. Basically, this harness is going to fit 99% of people very well.

Compared to most harnesses, the Commando is definitely above par. The fit is easily adjustable to be nearly perfect on most people. The base of the dildo typically sits on the mons, which is fair enough. Some other harnesses, such as the Spareparts Joque (my personal favorite) let the dildo sit directly on your clit, which makes thrusting an even more pleasurable experience, but the Commando doesn't feel terrible either. For the price point, I've definitely not encountered a better harness.

The harness holds toys very well in the o-ring. I never had a problem keeping them secure. It is also very easy to swap out o-rings if you have a particularly large or small toy.
