Thigh harness by Spartacus - review by SelectZen

When my partner first told me she had ordered the Spartacus Thigh harness I was very excited. I counted down the days until it arrived. I must say I was not disappointed. It arrived in simple plastic packaging, nothing too fancy or anything, but practical.

It looks well and is made of a nice material. The main body of the strap is made of soft leather with some steel rivets to hold it together. It is completely adjustable and it would fit most widths of thigh (there is enough strap to allow anything up to approximately 30 inches in circumference). It sits very comfortably on the leg, none of the fixtures get in the way of use. The advantage that the leather strap has over nylon, other than comfort, is cleanliness because the leather doesn’t absorb anything the way nylon does. The o-ring part of the harness is made of hard wearing rubber, despite being durable there is considerable flexibility but not a lot of room to stretch. It will hold the majority of normal sized o-ring or strap-on compatible dildos, however if you wanted something larger you might need to upgrade. This is easily done (provided you can buy a larger ring) as it clips into place and is fully removable, this also means that it is easy to interchange toys if you want to start small and work your way up.

The use of the harness was incredibly straightforward. When you have the dildo in place you slide it up your leg and it has just one strap that you pull on to tighten, much the same as an adjustable belt. As I mentioned the o-ring is strong material so it will hold a dildo securely in place while your partner bounces the night away.

Once you have finished using it, removing it is another simple matter, you grip the steel catch and pull it down, then it will loosen. This item is simple, durable and will not disappoint. I only mention the simplicity because I have had experience with various pieces of fetish/bondage gear that you might need a degree in engineering to use. There are few things more of a mood killer then having to take ten minutes to figure out what fastener attaches where. I know it sounds like exaggeration but I once had a blindfold/ball gag combination with 7 separate fasteners, so the ease of use with this toy is an incredible plus for us. It’s something you could grab and put on in the heat of the moment.
