Thigh harness - leg harness by Spartacus - review by Alan & Michele

Made by Spartacus Enterprise, it's hard to say who this classy leather harness would appeal to most, because it's so versatile it would work for nearly everyone! Designed to be strapped to the thigh, it opens up numerous possibilities for couples of any orientation who enjoy using dildos during foreplay, lap dancing, or sex. Even if you're playing solo, the straps on this harness adjust up to 28", so you can slip your favorite toy in it and attach it to a firm pillow for masturbation.

Who doesn't like the sight of sexy black leather in the bedroom? And this harness's leather feels just as great as it looks. At only 1/8" thick it's very flexible, and conforms to the shape of your thigh easily, so it actually feels good when you're wearing it. The upper side has a smooth matte finish, but the underside is sueded so it's not only comfortable but seems to add "traction" and help keep the harness from slipping.

The Spartacus thigh harness is well made and sports a very simplistic design. A separate 1" wide strap is attached to either end of the thigh pad with metal grommets, and there are twin D-rings at the end of one so you can fasten them together and adjust the fit. The other ends of these straps are folded around the O-ring and held secure with large heavy duty snaps, so you can change the ring if you'd like. The snaps are pretty tough to get undone, but this just means you never have to worry about them coming apart during use.

One thing that is particularly appealing about the design of this harness is that the thigh pad and straps are just large enough to do their job well, but not so large that you can't get some skin-to-skin contact while you're using it.

All of the steel hardware is thick and well-seated, and it's obvious that with proper care this a harness that will last for years.

When they say this harness is adjustable, they mean it! The straps hold firm at diameters of up to 28", but can be cranked down to as small as 13" with no problems. So basically, whether your a man or woman, heavy or thin, it's very likely that it will work for you.

There is just enough 'play' in the leather assembly that it's easy to put a dildo in place. That's the first thing you want to do because once the harness is on your leg, it holds the toy firmly enough that you can't change toys without loosening it. You definitely don't have to worry about the dildo slipping around when you're in the middle of vigorous thrusting!

In order for the harness to stay in place you have to pull the straps fairly tight, but that's not difficult to do and the soft leather keeps everything comfortable even if you wear it for a long time. In any position besides a sitting/lap dance, the straps will loosen just a bit after you've been moving around for awhile, but it only takes a few seconds to tighten them back up.

The thigh harness can be wiped with a damp cloth and mild soap, and that's generally all that's necessary. If it somehow gets really grungy though, there are cleaners designed specifically for leather that are easy to find.

It's best to store any leather gear away from direct sunlight, high heat and humidity, in a place where it can get some air circulation.

It comes in a rectangular clear plastic clam shell package so the majority of the product is visible. The cardboard insert wraps around so a portion is in front of the harness, and it shows a picture of a scantily-clad woman with a thigh harness and dildo in place, while the back lists some product info and a bit about the manufacturer. The predominant color on the cardboard is blush pink, and it has a decidedly feminine tone to it.

I was in a total "bossy bad girl" mode by the time we got around to trying this out, so I bound Alan to a chair, strapped the harness on him with our Tantus Acute, and proceeded to give him the nastiest lap dance I could muster. Frontwards, backwards, however I moved, the harness held the dildo right where it belonged. And judging by his reaction, it was a very..."uplifting" experience for him to be teased that way.

Though I haven't got a partner who is ready for me to penetrate them yet, in the interest of testing the fit, I later strapped the harness and dildo on my own thigh and spent considerable amount of time moving and walking around with it on. Even on my petite leg, it stayed put in most positions, though moving too much in a standing position did cause it to slide down my leg. No big deal, there's loads of ways to use this thing at any rate.

This is a torture device; it allows your partner to tease the shit out of you until you beg. Ok, not really, it's actually pretty cool once your hands are untied. It was comfortable and didn't feel overly hot or anything when I wore it, and it did inspire more than one odd position during those "in between" times when I was recharging and Michele was still going. The only time I had any real problems with it slipping was when I was in a kneeling position, and that's just because I didn't have it far enough down toward the knee joint. After I figured that out, it was smooth toying though.
