Hollow extension - penis extension discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by Mainman

It was an exciting moment when this new toy arrived. I had been anticipating getting it for a couple of months. I am always interested in trying a new penis extension to see how it feels and makes my partner feel. The vac-U-Lock system was new to me. It really was this feature that had my attention. The thought of having one device that would allow swapping out toys has a real appeal.

When I opened the box, I was a little disappointed immediately. I'll throw in the down side now and build up from here. The dong turned out to be the same one that I had reviewed as "Hollow Dong with Snaps." I really liked that dong and still do. It has some great features.

The problem was that I was expecting a new toy and not just a new holder for an old toy. One of the reasons that I wanted to order the Vac-U-Lock system was to try that toy out with it, too. Well, I got the chance, just not the way that I expected.

The second problem was the device itself. It is advertised as fitting up to a 44 inch waste. However, never having used one of these, I did not realize that when you are close to the maximum waste size, it makes the device not quite fit right because the crotch area is too short to give the right height from the crotch to the waist.

As a result, it was very difficult to get the waist band tight enough to stay up. Instead of going over the hips, it becomes a sort of a below the waist fit. It is not very comfortable for full-bodied folks. I decided to put underwear on over it to hold it in place and let the dong stick out through the front of the shorts. It worked ok.

The dong is a great device. It is a little snug inside, but it is coated with a rubber sheath that is like a heavy duty condom. The last couple of inches are considered the extension portion. This area has a foam insert that gives it a nice feel. Much more realistic than just a straight rubber dong.

Like all rubber dongs and most toys, the Hollow Extension needs a condom if you have sanitation concerns. It is just a good idea to use one to help keep it clean. The size of this dong is great. It is about seven inches and a very good girth for most women. Unless they really like to be spread apart, this dong will fill them up and feel like their lover plus a little in most cases.

The Vac-u-loc device has the needed 4 snaps to hold the dong very securely. It is almost too securely. It can be a little tough to get it loose. If you have concerns about not having control of the dong during sex, you can rest easy or go at it hard with this one with no worries.

The system can be tightened up to fit almost any waist size below 44. Actually, I think it probably will work best with waists that are 38 or below. The rigging for the straps would be a little easier to deal with if it snapped or used Velcro with the adjustments in the middle of the strap. Instead, you have to thread the straps through a buckle that may take a little getting use to for some users.

Since we had already used the dong, adjusting to the Hollow Extension only required getting used to the holder for the dong. Once the problem mentioned above was solved, it was easy to have a good time with this device.

This system was a really nice step up from the elastic straps that come with many extensions. Even though the dong was the same, it allow for some much more vigorous activity. The Hollow Extension holds the dong in place very well. It was nice to not have to make sure that the dong was moving in and out during sex. The harness held it right where it was supposed to be and did not allow any real amount of give that had been experienced with the elastic strap.

This toy has held up well, but it has had light use. For my partner and me, it seems to require a little more lube than we usually like to use. The size is great. It has a nice feel to it, but it is a little more difficult to use than products that have different construction materials. Maybe with a partner who has more natural lubrication, it would be a better toy.
