Mia-Z - sex toy by Outlaw Leather - review by deceased

Mia Z, from Seattle's Outlaw Leathers is more than just a stunning and comfortable jock style harness. Their website simply states "This harness is a tribute to tough and vocal independence". What tough and vocal independence could they possibly be referring to?

Mia Zapata was a Louisville, Kentucky born musician who was a co-founder and vocalist of the Seattle girl grunge band the Gits, founded in 1986. You can still find their music and tributes if you try. Even bands like Nirvana were fans of the Gits. To cut a long story very short, Ms. Zapata was walking home from a Capitol Hill bar in Seattle at 2 am with her Walkman headset on her head. She probably did not hear her attacker approaching. She was brutally beaten, raped and strangled and left in a crucifixion position. Another woman found Mia's murdered corpse around 3:30 that morning of July 7, 1993.

So this harness has attitude, and it is meant to be worn with an attitude. I road tested Mia Z in green and black. The green leather is a fantastic 80's fresh lime-spring green, it's vibrant against its black leather waist straps.

The front piece, which is green (or pink if you choose pink) and is lusciously soft leather which gets softer with wash and wear. I washed mine first in antibacterial soap - not soaking, but dipping and scrubbing lightly with a wash cloth, and then with a leather cleaner. The leather did not bleed color, and it dried nicely overnight (over the towel rack, or on a doorknob, etc) and was soft the next day.

The window for the dildo is 2 inches in diameter. It also has the capacity, via two snaps on the back of the dildo holder, to snap in a second dildo. One dildo faces the one you are gonna be loving, the other faces and goes in to you.

It comes with two O-rings for the front only. These O-rings are a standard one and three quarter inches in diameter and can be snapped in and out easily in the three-snap O-ring holder. It also comes with a black nitrile O-ring. You can swap out these rings and put your own rings from 1 and 1/4 to 2 inches.

The Mia Z will fit hips up to 54 inches around. It rides low on the hips so that the dildo- or dildos line up with your anatomy. It buckles with silver colored buckles on either side of the hips. The back of the hip strap is the green leather (or pink) basket weaved through the black leather bands, adding durability and added attractiveness to this sturdy yet soft leather harness.

The leg straps are also soft,unfinished garment leather and adjust on either side with sturdy silver colored D-rings. This is a well made harness with nothing flimsy about it.

The Mia Z comes in its own black velveteen drawstring pouch. Ready to rock?

I had a blast trying out Mia Z with multiple dildos. It easily holds thick dildos like the behemoth Share XL (close to 2 inches in diameter), as well as small dildos like the Sedeux Skin or big juicy dildos like the Leo(1 5/8). I found it's not the size of the dildos or the weight that makes them stable when used back-to-back together, it's the size of the base. Even small dildos length-wise with wider bases like the Curve are more stable back-to-back in the snap apart coupler than oddly matched sized dildo bases. When two dildos of similar base size are used together, they don't shift even in extreme bedsports if you adjust yourself in your harness properly.

Mia Z was a comfortable ride, easy clean up (and you should not store it in a plastic bag, leather needs to breathe), and very versatile. It was attractive and fun. I adored the green color. (I am so allergic to pink)

Worth the price tag? YOU BET.

The Mia Z, like most Outlaw Leather products continues to get more soft, comfortable and custom fitting with each wear. It is more beautiful in real life than its picture. The leather does not bleed when you wash it, and even if you are doing acrobatic sex, it does not require constant adjusting. Consider it an investment.
