Bandit - realistic dildo by Vixen Creations, Inc - review by Kira (stainedclear)

Bandit is a premium realistic dildo made by Vixen Creations. It's done in Vixen's VixSkin, a dual density silicone made to feel more realistic than other silicone materials. It features realistic material and design, making this pretty much the ultimate in the realistic dildo market.

Bandit has a base shaped like balls, allowing Bandit to be safe for anal or vaginal use. You can use Bandit in a harness, but keep in mind that the balls won't be a comfortable fit in every harness because of their size. Make sure you have a compatible O ring (1.75") to use it. Bandit could also be used for gender play. It's probably not the best for packing, though I haven't tried it that way. It sits straight out, so it likely wouldn't be comfortable to wear underneath clothing.

We purchased Bandit for pegging, so this review comes from that perspective. I did use it myself for the review so I could give you my opinion as well.

Bandit is made of VixSkin, a premium silicone. This puts it at a ten on the safety scale. It is non-porous, phthalates free, and body safe. VixSkin is a dual density silicone which means it has a firm inner core and a soft outer layer. Silicone lubricant is suspended between the molecules in VixSkin which is what makes it so special in comparison to other dual density silicone.

The soft outer layer on Bandit is thick, making the overall feel squishy on the outside but still firm on the inside. It is one my softer VixSkin's and I personally think this makes it feel the most realistic in use. You can push the outer layer in with your finger, especially at the head which is made entirely of the soft silicone. When you hit the inner core, the core will push back against you when you squeeze it.

Bandit can be bent in half. If you hold it in your hand and wave your hand around, it will sway with the movement but hold an upright position. It's bendable, but not floppy. The inner core holds the shape well.



Another cool thing about the Bandit is that the outer layer has some movement to it. If you rub your finger in circles over the material, it will move like skin. The inner core will stay in place, but the outer layer will move with your finger, just like you would see on real flesh.

There is light texturing on Bandit to simulate a more life like appearance and feel. There are lots of little indentations to make it appear more skin-like and veining done down the back of the shaft and around it. The veins are noticeable to the touch, but not as much so during use. The light indentations don't seem to be noticeable, but the overall feel of this versus the smoother Raquel is more realistic, so I suppose it does do something.

VixSkin is a wonderful, high-quality material that is great for users of all experience levels. No matter how long you've been using toys, VixSkin is sure to impress. Bandit's version of VixSkin is particularly impressive given the amount of each layer used. The texturing will be suited to those who are texture sensitive as it's not overwhelming.

Bandit is 8" in total length with 7" insertable. It is 1.75" in diameter at the widest point. The head starts at about 1.25" and gets to 1.5" before going to the shaft. These measurements are as per the product page and my personal measurements.

Bandit is not the largest dildo available, but it's not the smallest either. It's best suited to those that like something of moderately large girth. Size kings and queens will likely find it lacking and those that prefer smaller sizes may find it too much. The soft outer layer does shield some of the size, making it a bit easier to handle than toys at 1.75" made of harder materials. That doesn't mean you should rush to get this if you've only used smaller toys, but it is something to keep in mind if you're looking to go up in sizes.

For both my husband and I, the size of Bandit is absolutely ideal. For me, it provided just the right amount of fill without causing stretching or discomfort. I usually prefer toys in the 1"-1.5" range, but something about this toy just felt oh so right. I do prefer more in length, so the extra bit that's given in that area also worked well for me.

For my husband, the size also works well. While the girth isn't something that he can use on a regular basis, it is undoubtedly his favorite size. Similar to my experience, it provides just the right amount of fill without being too much.

The extra length of Bandit comes in great handy for pegging purposes, which I'll go into more details on in the performance section.

Bandit is designed to look like a penis and that it does. It is anatomically correct from top to bottom, balls included. Even the balls look quite realistic, though since they are the base they don't move in a realistic fashion. The head comes out and goes inward very slightly, which is noticeable during use but not in an unpleasant sort of way. The shaft has detailing to make the appearance even more realistic. The full effect is that this truly looks lifelike.



As a realistic toy, Bandit is not discreet. There will be no doubts what this is for if someone happens across it. You could travel with it since it's a dildo and not a vibrator, but if someone finds your bag then you get to have that bit of fun. So you can decide if it's worth it or not. The size is easy enough for travel or storage, but it will take up some space.

I only got to try Bandit myself a few times before I gave it to my husband since it was purchased for him. Since then, I have longed to get one for myself. For me, this felt almost like the perfect realistic toy. The amount of squish was just right, the skin movement could be felt when I thrusted, and the size was a good fit. It doesn't do anything for my G spot, but a realistic toy never will because I need an intense curve for that. The head didn't catch on my pubic bone no matter which way I used it. There was just nothing not to love about Bandit.

My husband shares the same opinion I do. Bandit is his favorite toy for pegging. In fact, it's the one toy he has that will give him an orgasm when we peg about 95% of the time (no manual stimulation required). I'm not entirely sure if it's the size or the shape that cause this, perhaps a combination of the two, but Bandit just does it for him in a way that other toys have not. He's also a big fan of the material, even though realism isn't his ultimate goal, as he says it simply feels good in use. So you don't have to want something to feel realistic to enjoy it. You just have to want something that's going to feel awesome. He also says that this creates good amounts of pressure on his P spot and keeps contact with it most of the time in use.

For harness use, the length of Bandit is wonderful. I have some toys that could be great shape-wise, but the length is shorter and I can't get a good thrust with them. With Bandit's length, I'm able to thrust more vigorously without having to worry about the dildo popping out because I've come out too far. Since I'm not spending so much time concentrating on how far I'm thrusting on the out swing, I'm able to more fully enjoy the experience.

The downside to harness use is that the balls won't work in every harness. Actually, the only harness I've gotten them to fit comfortably in is the Aslan Double Up Harness, but I find that one otherwise uncomfortable. With my Jag harnesses (which are the other two I have), the balls have to be pushed up against the side of my leg. Once I get in the heat of the moment I don't seem to notice them as much, but for the first few minutes I'm incredibly annoyed by their presence.

When using in a harness, be sure you have the proper size O ring. You need one that will fit a 1.75" toy. We use soft rubber O rings as a safety precaution to avoid potential damage to the outer layer of the material.

Bandit is not suction cupped at the bottom. The base will stick a little bit when wet, but don't rely on this for actual use because it comes up pretty easily.

Bandit can be cared for in any number of ways. You can use soap and water or a toy cleaner. You can boil it for three minutes to disinfect it. You can also place it in a dishwasher. If you are sharing it or going from vaginal to anal, you should boil it between partners/uses.

The material does collect lint, dust, hair, and everything else like crazy. I would recommend washing it before and after each use and storing it properly to avoid it getting absolutely disgusting. It's a magnet for particles and hair. From the bathroom to the storage box we keep it in there will sometimes be things that have gotten on it. You may even want to re-clean it with a wipe right before use.

Only water based lubes should be used with Bandit. Silicone lubes could damage the material.

Vixen recommends that VixSkin toys be stored upright to preserve their shape. My husband is not as particular about his toys as I am with mine and doesn't do this. So far Bandit has held up after about a month and a half of regular storage. I don't know how this will work out long term, so you can decide for yourself what position to store it in. I keep my personal VixSkin's upright. You can use the packaging for storage, but it's not fancy. A pouch or baggie that has room for the balls will work just as well.

Bandit comes in a clear box that snaps closed. The front says "VixSkin Worth Every Inch." The back has information about what makes VixSkin special and company contact information. The packaging is not discreet given that it's see through and talks about the toy. It can be used for storage, but it's far from a fancy storage option. We use ours to store it and have had no issues.

If Bandit is in your size preferences and you're in the market for a realistic toy, this needs to be on your radar. VixSkin is some of the best material out there in terms of realism and safety and Bandit is one of the best in the line. While the size may not fit everyone's needs, it will be a favorite for those it fits. It's suitable for all genders and a great pegging toy if you can deal with the balls being in the way.

Bandit is truly a loved dildo in our home. There's not a lot of things I would ever consider buying two of, but having experienced this and then giving it up to my husband, I have been waiting for the color I want to come back in stock to grab another one for myself. My husband gets excited whenever I mention that we might use it. All I have to do during the day is send a text saying that I'll be pulling Bandit out later in the evening and he'll be ramped up the rest of the day. Due to the larger size, we don't use it every time we peg in lieu of the O2 Flurry (1.5"). My husband is still new to pegging and anal play, so he's not quite used to the larger sizes on a regular basis. As he practices, we use it more often. I think his goal is to make this our regular use pegging dildo as he's been practicing with larger butt plugs just to be able to use Bandit more. Even if I get new toys for him, he still requests this one the most. It's the one I have that I'm almost always assured will give him an orgasm, something I cannot say for any other toy he has.
