The La Palma harness from Spareparts Hardwear is an innovative design that not only allows you to become the sex toy, but to become a multitude of sex toys. It comes with two multi-speed bullets and three 'Ringo' base rings to stabilize smaller dildos. It can be used as a vibrator or massager alone, can be used with a dildo alone for thrusting safely anywhere you like, or using both at once to create a thrusting vibrator.

Not only is this item great for those looking to enhance their sex lives with a new and exciting range of options, but it fits a wide range of additional people as well. It can be used by those with sexual problems, those with physical disabilities that make it difficult to hold a dildo or thrust from other locations on the body, or simply those who feel limited using a harness in the genital region. It is easy enough to use and maneuver for a beginner but will allow the more seasoned harness or sex toy user to be creative in ways that any other harness would not be able to accommodate.

This toy would also be a great introduction into male anal penetration by partners who are uncomfortable with the idea of a traditional strap-on harness. It allows for anal (or vaginal) thrusting while still having the second hand, mouth, and body to pleasure or be pleasured.

The harness is small and discreet enough to travel with but the chain on the pouch might cause some problems if you were to try and get it through airport security. The toy is quiet enough to be used in most situations including shared living spaces, even with the bullets on and is silent without them.

This harness is constructed out of black neoprene and nylon and uses velcro and rust-resistant snaps as closures. It has no smell and no taste and the fit of the glove portion is super stretchy and should not cause pain or undue pressure to the hand wearing it, even with extended wear. The bullets are made of hard black plastic and the Ringo rings are made of black nylon with a grey rubber underside for additional grip. The entire harness is waterproof and will dry out and as long as they are closed tightly, the bullets are waterproof as well.

The La Palma is very high quality and should last for years if cared for properly. The design consists of a glove like shape that fits tightly around the palm of the hand and also has 2 holes through a piece of neoprene that extends from the top for the middle and ring finger to fit through, for extra security and control. Once the harness is on the hand, the bullets can be inserted and snapped into into their sleeves on the top and bottom of the palm side, and if desired the dildo (up to 1.5" in diameter) can be inserted through the o-ring, and then the piece of fabric that contains the o-ring can be wrapped around the back of the hand and secured tightly with velcro and two snaps.

Just like using the bullets and the dildo together are optional, the 3 included Ringo grips are optional as well. You can use one, two, or three to help secure a smaller or less sturdy dildo before you insert it through the o-ring in the harness itself or use it without them entirely. And even with the dildo and bullets inserted, the harness retains its flexibility and manageability because of the super stretchy neoprene material.

The harness comes in a right handed and left handed model that cannot be interchanged. It also comes in the following three sizes:

XS/S: palm size- 2.5-3.25", thumb measurement- 1.75-2.25"
M/L: palm size- 3.25-4.0", thumb measurement- 2.25-2.75"
XL: palm size- 4.0-5.0", thumb measurement- 2.75-3.25"

According to Spareparts, the palm size should be taken from one side to the other on the top and bottom of the palm of the hand and the thumb measurement should be taken from the base of the thumb to the 'v' between the thumb and index finger.

The variety of sizes its offered in in addition to the extreme stretch of the material should make this a harness than nearly anyone can wear.

This toy is stretchy, sturdy, and comfortable and easy to use from any angle. The harness is a little tricky to get on but only because it's so stretchy it can be a little tight going on but fits nicely once its situated. Using it once its on, adjusting it, or removing it are all a breeze. The only real limits on the performance of this toy are how creative you are able to be with it and what you are willing to try.

The harness does its job extremely well, especially since it it comes with the additional Ringo rings to support nearly any size or strength of the toy.

The two bullets in the toy are on the quiet side, and are barely audible once they're inside the sleeves in the harness. They are controlled by 2 watch batteries each and feature the following patterns:

Push once - steady vibration
Push twice - high steady vibration
Push three times - Two short pulses followed by one long
Push four times - Fast pulses
Push five times - Alternating high and low pulses
Push six times - off

Because the bullets each have two batteries, they are very powerful and can be felt not only through the neoprene but through any toy inserted into the o-ring. They are strong enough to carry through evenly to the head of any dildo you may use.

When using as a massager, the harness can be run anywhere on the body. To use more intimately, it can be placed over delicate areas and moved when necessary. When used with a dildo, it can be used to vibrate when inserted or to use a toy as an external vibrator. As yet another added bonus, the bullets can be used without the rest of the toy and the 'Ringo' grips can be used with other Spareparts products. Once again, the only limitations of this toy are that of your creativity and inhibitions.

Caring for this harness could not be easier. It can be cleaned with mild soap, rinsed, and left to dry over a towel, and then stored in its own pouch. Any lubricant or other fluids that have come into contact with this fabric will wash off cleanly with minimal effort. The only extra care that needs to be taken is to ensure that if the bullets are washed that they are sealed tightly to prevent water from leaking in.

The La Palma's packaging is very cool and definitely worth saving. It comes in a black zippered storage pouch hung on a long heavy chain, almost like a purse. When you unzip the case, there is a pouch on each side - one holds the harness itself, the other holds the two bullets and the three Ringo base rings. There is a small card with 6 diagrams to show how to use the harness attached to the chain but the diagrams aren't particularly helpful and are hard to decipher. The pouch also has a keyring on one corner and is adorned with the Spareparts Hardwear patch on the front. Although the chain makes it a little heavy and a little noisy, this is definitely an ideal storage case for this item. The harness came packaged in its purse, and simply wrapped in plastic when shipped.

I absolutely adore this toy - there is no better way to say it. It works beautifully and is constructed so well that I'm confident I'll have it and use it for years to come. Although it not being interchangeable between the hands may be an issue for some, it poses no problem for me as I would much rather have my other hand free to do other things. The same goes for the size - I rarely work with anything over 1.5" in diameter so when it comes down to it, I have no personal cons for this toy.

I still haven't run out of new and creative ways to use this harness on my partner. It can comfortably be used from any position we've tried and adds an extra level of intimacy since the toy becomes something of an extension of yourself. It is easier to control than even holding a sex toy because your fingers don't cramp up or slip off from excess lubricant and it's comfortable for extended wear. I plan on using this toy several more ways and in several more positions and can only imagine the possibilities this toy possesses for partner sex with more than two participants.
