Boy 1 review

Let’s face it: some days, you’re not ready for the big show when you show up to the concert. Opening acts have their place in the concert experience and smaller dildos definitely have their place in the penetration experience. While I’ve developed a bit of pride in my ability to fit large dildos into my vagina, I only get there with the help of the little ones. That’s where Boy 1 came in.

Yeah, I know. It’s not what Boy 1 was designed for. Boy 1 seems (based on its packaging) to have been designed for someone’s first anal sex experience. While it may someday get that use from me, my primary interest was in a small dildo that would feel good before I had become as wet and relaxed as I needed to be to accommodate a larger dong. In that respect, Boy 1 definitely fit the bill. It’s relatively small- 1.25 inches in diameter, which makes it a perfect size to start out with on a given night. It also would serve nicely for someone new to penetration—vaginal or anal—as a starter dildo. The head, pleasantly enough, is about the same diameter as the rest of the dildo. That helps since there’s nothing more annoying than having a dildo whose shaft is the perfect girth but which has a head my body isn’t ready to accept yet.

The dildo which Boy 1 is replacing in my life was a dildo of similar girth but of inferior length. I like that Boy 1 has a long shaft since it means I can feel fully penetrated length-wise even by this more narrow dildo. Another perk is that the base is significant even though the dildo itself is on the slender side. This allows Boy 1 to fit nicely into my harness.

I’ve now used Boy 1 many times and it has lived up to all my expectations. It penetrated me deeply without being uncomfortably wide and it slid in and out of me smoothly thanks to the slender head. Its size is perfect for the transition between finger penetration and larger dildo penetration. The one drawback to Boy 1 was the straightness of its shaft. It’s almost entirely straight which doesn’t really allow for good G-spot stimulation. With that said, its girth allows for excellent maneuverability and I imagine that my girlfriend and I will eventually find a way to compensate for the straight shaft. Actually, a number of times, the speed of penetration which its girth allows has convinced my girlfriend and me not to move up to the larger dildo we have which we can’t thrust as quickly. Boy 1 is made of silicone which makes it safe (phthaltates free!) and easy to clean (you can take it into the shower and wash it with just soap and water). For all these reasons, Boy 1 has already seen action as the opening act of many the sexual concert and, on occasion, has stolen the show.
