Delight Your Valley!

Dildo by Happy Valley

Published: August 1, 2008
extremely useful review
If you're looking for a silicone dildo that's harness compatible and great for beginners, I highly recommend the Happy Valley Delight! It might not be fancy, but it's definitely a solid performer!
Pros:
100% silicone, fairly strong vibrations, nice sculpting, wide base
Cons:
No bells and whistles
This toy was definitely designed
The Happy Valley Delight is probably not a dildo that will totally rock your world, but it is definitely a solid (no pun intended) performer, just without bells and whistles. It is of moderate proportions--5 ¾” insertable length and 1 ¼” diameter--so it is a great choice for the beginner.

I received the blue version of the dildo, and it is a lovely, dusky, metallic swirled teal color--very attractive. It is made of 100% silicone, so is very hygienic and can be sterilized by boiling, running through the dishwasher (top rack, no soap), or cleaned with a 10% bleach solution. This dildo also has quite a wide base, making it anal-friendly and harness compatible.

The dildo is not tapered much toward the top, which is the only problem I can see for beginners. It is not particularly bulbous, either, so it is easy enough to insert. The underside of the dildo is sculpted with very subtle undulations which are very gentle, but stimulate your insides quite nicely.

The Happy Valley Delight also comes with an insertable one-speed bullet for vibrations. I do not know if the bullet is more powerful than some (it runs on 3 watch batteries) or if the dildo is simply smaller than many others, but this bullet definitely puts out some strong vibrations that can be felt all the way to the tip. The bullet is quiet, but not silent.

The silicone is quite firm on this toy, which might help conduct the vibrations so well. It is still quite bendable, though, so you can move it to fit your curves. The girth of the dildo shaft just does not really have much give to it at all.

I think the Happy Valley Delight is an excellent dildo for beginners, those who like stronger vibrations, and those who intend to use it with a harness.

No, I'd say it's definitely a beginner's toy.  But the vibrations are really comparably strong!  Thanks, Jimbo!

That one does seem to have a lot going for it, but I guess it isn't as textured as some. Thanks for another great review!

The head is not huge, but the ripples on the underside provide some nice stimulation.  The vibration also carries very well into the head, so it's not perfect, but I'm not sorry to have it!

The curve to this looks nice, but I'm thinking that the head might not have enough of a bulb to it for very good G-spot stimulation; how was it for you in that regard?
