This toy was definitely designed
It is no secret (at least I would think, by now!) that I am a fan of ridges… particularly deep, soft, silicone ridges. When I saw the Echo, therefore, I was just dying to try it out. The silicone is smooth and silky, but has a nice amount of give to it. It is a small enough size not to be intimidating (5 ½ insertable inches and a 1 ½” diameter), which is important for a toy with ridges as deep and prominent as this one (at least in my opinion--do not want any tearing or bruising!). The color on mine was supposed to be “gold,” but it really looks more like a “pewter.” No big deal, though--it is still an attractive toy, and I am not complaining.
The Echo has a slightly tapered head that is not too small, but makes for easy insertion. The upper side is covered with deep, twisty ridges that feel just wonderful sliding in and out. Be warned, though--this is a toy for those who are used to and enjoy texture, not for newcomers! The bottom side of the dildo is also molded, and features a very prominent vein running the length of the shaft. I actually took great joy in turning this
silicone dildo from side to side and enjoying the different sensations on my front and back vaginal walls!
The Echo is 100% silicone, and thus can be boiled, run through the dishwasher (top rack, no soap), or cleaned with a 10% bleach solution. It has a flared base, which makes it compatible for anal or harness use, but the base is rather small on this one. It also comes with a removable bullet, to add some vibration to the mix. The bullet is moderately powerful and runs on 3 watch batteries. It is somewhat different than most of the other dildo-insertable bullets I have in that it is operated by a dial control instead of a push button. The bullet MAY be multi-speed--it seems to start out with a more gentle vibration. If it is, however, the difference in speeds is slight enough to hardly be noticeable. The vibrations carry well enough through the shaft, though are not as powerful at the tip as I would like. The bullet is also louder than most mini bullets I own, so be warned if you need to be discreet.
Anytime! :)
This toy sounds so satisfying,I'm sure I will. Thanks again. ;)
Minxy, I hope you love it!
DD:
Thank you so much for responding.I'm looking forward to receiving this toy and my only concern was the G-spot issue, you've just laid all my concern to rest.
It's excellent, Minxy. It's missing a curve, but the pronounced head and ridges definitely do the job!
Hi Dame Demi,
How does this measure up for G-spot stimulation??
Adriana - it IS a wonderfully unique-looking toy! The dial is easy to operate as long as your hands aren't covered in lube. :)
WaZzOo - It is 100% silicone and does have a flared base, so it is probably suitable for anal use (though the base is on the small side). It would be way too much for me to handle, but probably suitable for the experienced user.
Would you recommend this dildo for anal use?
That almost looks like molten gold in the picture, how unique! Is the dial easy to use?
Thank you, Jimbo!
Tantus' newest line does seem to have redesigned bases, so maybe they finally heard you, CW. Thanks for another excellent review, DD.
We's loves the ridgesssss....yessss, we doesssss, my precioussssss.....
Those ridge do look lovely, and very stimulating!
I do wonder what it is with tantus and those small bases...
Epiphora, it's really a lot more gentle than it looks. The ridges feel good, they didn't hurt me at all.
I want it! I don't know if my vagina will be able to handle it, but I want it!
Haha, yeah, I've noticed that, and it's a shame because they're such great products otherwise!
Tantus bases are all kind of small... I'm hoping eventually someone from that company will see all my bitching about it and redesign their toys.
