Enter the Dragon?
If you're already collecting the set I guess this would be an appropriate purchase, but I would prefer to look for a better harness. I put a lot of stock into how well-made a product is, and the fact that I will probably have to reinforce the stitching is a serious negative mark.Published: April 7, 2011
Pros:
Lightweight, Outwardly attractive.
Cons:
Material quality.
This was my first experience with a double strap harness, and while I think I've become interested in this type, I may want to find one of a higher quality. While I can still use the Tattoo harness, with very little roughness, it's already got stitches ripping. Also, the front panel, while pretty, contains a thin foam that tends to fold outward and away from the body around the edges.
The harness is a combination of nylon, foam, and cotton, where the straps are nylon (itchy!) and the foam panel is covered in cotton. The dragon pattern appears to be screen-printed on, or possibly heat sealed. There is a hole in the cotton padded front panel. I'm fairly certain that it is intended to hold a very small bullet vibrator, but this hole also exposes the inside padding and appears somewhat shoddy for that. The O-ring is very strong though, and entirely metal. It will hold a dildo of less than 1-3/4" diameter, and can be swapped out for a wider ring. I tried it with the Pink Venus size 2 dildo, because of the closely matching colors.
At least the fit of this harness is variable. The packaging says it fits a maximum hip size of 63". My hip size is 44" and it adjusted to my size relatively easily -- sort of like adjusting a backpack. It was actually during this fitting though that most of the stitching seemed to stretch and/or snap.
Nonetheless, I did like how the strapping style framed my figure without pressing into my sides, like a stretchy harness would. Another benefit of this type of harness is accessibility -- whereas some harnesses can make the wearer more enclosed, the arrangement of the straps allows the wearer to have great mobility and access. It is also very lightweight.

Experience
As much as I've said that this items looks like it will fall apart though, it hasn't. I'm keeping an eye on how many threads have snapped, but it looks like there may be enough threads beyond the snapped ones that it's staying together. I still intend to reinforce it myself eventually, but for now it seems to be working.

Best strap-on (with or without a dildo) for under $50?
-
I was looking at the Inked restraints tattoo harness and was wondering what the best dildo would be to use for this.
Then I was reading the reviews, and although would be perfect for either me or my girlfriend to use because of our size differences.... I read it chafes.. now not all the reviews say that.. but.. I have sensitive skin, and while my girlfriend doesn't... she.. gets a little excited and I'm worried that the movement will bother her.
So what is the best strap on(With or without a dildo) that's under. $50 (I've never had one used on me or used one.. so I'm a bit hesitant to spend a lot). -
Under $50 I'd say probably Sportsheets, though they do have the nylon straps. You might be able to sew covers for them if you have a sewing machine.
If the budget will stretch a little the Aslan Commando is a very nice harness that doesn't chafe. -
You can always wear shorts under the harness. Going to second Sportsheets dildos. Here they are.

I totally understand and feel the same way. I got the Bare as You Dare harness which is basically a gstring with rings. I love it.

Thank you for viewing Inked restraints tattoo harness – dildo harness review page!

Yes the quality always seems to go down with the price tag on these unfortunately. It's very attractive though. Thanks for the review.
Thanks, great review!
