The New Comers Strap-On Kit is a good option for those interested in strap-on sex but hesitant to spend a whole lot of money on experimenting with it. This is definitely an "introductory" kit. It is not for advanced users or those who are interested in replacing their existing harness. I am also reluctant to recommend this harness for vaginal use. The size is really more suited for pegging unless one has a particularly small vagina. We chose this kit as we are very inexperienced.

The New Comers Strap-On is a rather bare-bones harness. It does its job with minimal extra bells and whistles (such as an inside pouch for a vibrator or a replacable o-ring). It is not comfortable, but, for the price, it works. It is easy to replace the included dildo with another as long as it is small enough to fit in the ring. The harness keeps the toy fairly secure. Use in a variety positions was limited by the small size of the included toy, but with a larger one, it would likely work quite well.

The kit is very easy to care for. The harness is machine-washable (although, personally, we hand-wash it due to only having access to communal washing machines), and the dildo can be easily cleaned with soap and water. Currently, it is being stored wrapped in a t-shirt in a tote bag in the back of a closet which is probably not ideal, but it is discreet. This is not one for the mantel.

The kit was packaged in a fairly low-budget, inelegant cardboard package. The packaging was not very discreet which required much shredding to dispose of discreetly. Illustrated instructions were included on the box. The packaging is not re-usable.

The dildo was effective when used separately from the harness. With the harness, the toy is more suitable to pegging.
