The Stockroom’s leather products are created from cowhide. ‘They use the finest part of the cowhide for all of their gear...the rear! The rear of the cowhide is the thickest cut and has the least amount of stretch. There is a natural stretch in leather. Therefore, Stockroom sews their products on the bias, so the stretch naturally falls where it needs to for the best fit.’

The Stockroom uses medium weight leather for all their leather goods. This allows for both comfort and durability, while not being too bulky.

Le Butch’s leather has a shiny finish on outside and soft and rough on the inside. I believe, the inside leather has a nubuck finish and the outer is aniline leather finish.

Over all, the leather is soft and subtle against your skin. The outer side of the leather has a nice glossy look but not too much shine. Also, the straps are soft and not stiff.

The design and craftsmanship of Le Butch, is superb! The Stockroom’s designer J Mysterioso, got it right with this piece. It’s not only functional, but also sexy and stylish.

The Le Butch is a double strap harness with a front panel and a panel around your lower back. The straps and panels are held together with stainless steel rectangle buckles on both the side and the leg straps.

The panels are made from two layers of leather sewn together and held securely with stainless steel rivets. The front panel is cut exactly like a low rise thong. The top and sides are sloped inward for a comfortable and natural feeling. Also the leather bellow the o-ring hole, is only as long as need be for the strap attachment. With no extra sticking out into the crotch area, it is skimpy down there. This allows easy and clear access to your love oven. In addition, the panels are trimmed with zipper teeth. The look of this zipper is right on. It is sexy and bad, all wrapped into one. Also, the zipper teeth trim is recessed from the edge, so you have the look without the pinch.

The back panel is similar to a lower back brace. It is slender and has a slight oval curve on the top and bottom edges. It is attached to the middle of the rear strap. The zipper teeth trim goes along the top and bottom of the leather panel but not down the sides. Instead the sides have two rivets affixed to the edges.

O-Ring Straps – There are three straps. Each has two snaps. The straps are ½ inch wide and 3 ½ inches long.
Zipper Teeth Trim – ¼ of an inch wide and 1/8 of an inch thick.

Straps:

Side straps – 9 ¾ inches long and 1 inch wide. The straps are 1/8 of an inch thick. They are part of one continues cut for the lower half of the front piece.

Leg Straps – The leg straps are attached to the front panel with one rivet for each. Each strap is made up of two pieces, one attached to the front panel which has a rectangle buckle on the end and one with the adjustment holes which is looped around the back panel straps. The strap longest strap is attached to the front panel and is 11 inches long, ¾ of an inch wide, and 1/8 of an inch thick. The shorter strap is looped around the back strap. It is 9 ½ inches long with the same width and thickness as its mate.

The buckle is 1 ¼ inches by 1 inch.

Back:

The back panel is also double layered. There is the panel and the lower strap, which connects to the side straps to hold it all together.

Panel – 9 inches long, 2 ¼ inches in the middle widest point and 1 ¾ at the sides. The zipper size and the overall thickness is the same as the front panel. There are two rivets holding the sides of the panel.

Back Strap – The back strap has two rectangle buckles which are 1 ½ inches by 1 ¼ inches. The strap is 18 inches long, 2 ¼ inches wide in the middle widest part and 1 inch wide at the side straps.

The panels are sewn onto the straps with heavy stitching 3/8 of an inch recessed from the sides.

When I saw this harness on Edenfantasys, I could not resist buying it. The bad girl look, stole my heart. When I placed my order, I also ordered the large silk and a new bottle of lube.
