The Ultra Harness 3000 is a unisex leather strap on harness that uses a Vac-U-Lock system to attach Doc Johnson dildos. You can attach the plugs with either velcro or snaps. I have always used the plug with snaps. This is a unisex harness, so a woman can wear it with her favorite dildo. A man could also use this harness for double penetration or kinky play. The crotchless portion is large enough that he can be packing two for the price of one! He could have a dildo on top and his penis through the crotchless hole. Now, which pecker goes in which hole totally depends on what positions you want to get yourself into!

This was my very first harness. Actually, it's my only harness and it didn't take long for me to figure out how to use it. With that being said, I would say this could be a great harness for beginners. It's also fun at parties when I think things need to lighten up! I pull this sucker out, pop on Oscar (as I've said before, I like to name my toys. Oscar is my Doc Johnson Thin Natural Dong that goes with my Ultra Harness 3000) and away we go! People either leave in shock or smile really big.

The harness is made out of really sturdy leather. It is kind of thin, but thick enough to hold together well. I've had this harness for about 2 years and it is still in perfect condition. As a matter of fact, it is actually in better condition than when I first got it. It has become like a great leather hand bag. The longer you have it and handle it, the softer and more pliable it becomes. It has that awesome leather smell that has lasted since the first day I got it. Of course if you don't like the smell of leather that's ok too. It isn't a strong odor and can only be detected if you put it under your nose and take a whiff.

The straps attach and tighten with metal buckles that have held up well over time. The Vac-U-Lock plug is made out of hard plastic.

The leather is water resistant, however I wouldn't dunk it in a swimming pool or play with it in the shower. But you can wash it with a damp cloth.

OK, I've listed several pro's so far, now lets get into the cons. It has a one size fits most appeal to it when you first take it out of the box. However, I just don't think that ends up being the case. I could see where if you were on the larger side this would be very uncomfortable because there isn't much of a barrier between the buckles and your skin. If you are on the smaller, petite side it is going to ride too high to be in the right spot. From the top of the waistline to the bottom of the crotchless portion is almost 13 inches. Thats longer than my torso! I know, I'm short.

The back of the plug, the portion that hits your pubic bone, is 3 inches wide by 3 inches long at the top and 2 1/2 inches long on the bottom. It graduates down a bit. It has a thin foam rubber cushion that works well if you are not doing any penetrating that requires hard thrusting. I have found it to not be such a great cushion if you are thrusting hard or moving fast. I've had to adjust it at times or slow things down because it was hurting my pubic bone.

As I said above, the materiel itself is wonderful and it is made to last. Just not so sure it's made to fit everyone easily without some homemade manipulation.

Speaking of dildos, (I guess anytime you are talking about strap ons you are speaking of dildos) the Doc Johnson Vac-U-Lock dildo selection is somewhat limited. Most of the available choices are rubber. There are a few Jellys and a couple of Ultra Realistics, but I haven't seen any straight silicone choices. If I'm wrong let me know and I'll jump on buying one!

The design is a little janky (I know, I'm making up words again, but I use it often so it ought to be a word). This harness is a g-string design and can allow up to a waist of 44'. It says so right there on the product page. What it doesn't say is that it will only cinch in to a 30' waist. So if you are on the smaller side this harness does not stay tight and secure. I had to adjust the straps myself by adding a few additional holes and that kind of threw off the balance of things. The crotchless part hangs rather low, which if you are a guy using it that's great because it gives you the extra room you need to strap-on and be packing your own stuff below. For a woman, I found it rubbed between my thighs it hung so low. And, if I pull it up so that the crotch fits, I'm basically wearing a dildo just under my boobs! Although that might be a turn on for some, not so much for me. I've manipulated and poked holes here and there and made it work for me, but I look like I have straps coming out of everywhere when I have it on.

The Vac-U-lock system, I found, works really well. I've never had an issue with the dildo staying in place or popping off or even coming loose. So I have to give Doc Johnson props in that area. But because the harness is so loose on me at times, I still cannot go hands free when using it because I have to hold the harness in place which usually means I'm holding the dildo.

The leather, as I mentioned above, is water resistant so you can use a damp cloth to clean it off with warm soapy water. The plug snaps or pulls off so you can use toy cleaner or warm soapy water to clean it as well. The plug does have that foam cushion on the back that could absorb and hold water so I would be careful of getting it too wet. I'd make sure it was dried out well before putting it away to avoid mold or any bacteria collecting on it.

It comes in a box with a picture of the harness on the front and back. The instructions with demonstrative pictures are on the side of the box. So, not so discreet. The harness itself was wrapped in a protective plastic bag on the inside. It did not come with a duster storage bag. But, it is leather so you could easily fold it and store this where ever you store your toys or lingerie.

While I don't think this is the best fitting harness on the market, it was my first and gave me a good taste of how much fun strapping a dildo on could be. Considering some of the prices I see for other higher quality harnesses, I'm glad I started with this one. I didn't feel bad about punching holes in it to make it fit me at that price.

I've had so much fun with this harness! Outside of the ill fit issues, we have pulled this harness out many times to play with it. I wanted to experiment with role reversal and this was what I bought to try it out. I like the look of it, the leather feels great and for the price I think I got what I paid for. I do have to be careful, because although the Vac-U-Lock works great for me, the harness itself slips around a lot. I can't be hands free and I have to be careful everything is in the right place when we are playing so I don't hurt him by accident. It doesn't allow me to fully role play, because unlike a man, I have to use my hands to hold the dildo.
