Leather strap on - adjustable double strap harness discontinued by Sportsheets - review by solly

This was my first harness purchase and my partner and I love it; I knew I wanted a double strap harness and this one certainly delivers. The adjustable straps make it easy for anyone to wear comfortably, and the snaps on the front make it easy to interchange the ring in order to accommodate girthier toys. My partner and I personally have never experienced slippage with this harness; once everything is strapped in (and strapped on) it stays put and right where you need it.

The harness itself is made from a leather piece in the front with nylon webbing straps, adjustable plastic slides and metal snaps around the part of the harness where you can attach and o-ring to accommodate a dildo. If the nylon webbing is too long for your tastes, it is simple enough to cut it to size and seal the edges with a lighter to prevent them from unraveling. This is not vegan because of the leather, but that was not a problem for us. I do wish that the leather piece had an easier to clean backing instead of just being raw and unfinished; it's easy to stain it during use, and although this is not a health concern for us, it would be a problem if you were sharing this harness with multiple partners. I plan on solving this in the future by attaching a smooth, nonporous material that can be wiped clean to the back.

This harness is nicely crafted and sewn, and while it may not be quite as nice as some of the more expensive options out there, it does the job just fine for us and shows no signs of falling apart any time soon. The snap attachment system in the front makes it very easy to interchange the rings during use. The leather piece on the front, while unfinished, looks to be of good quality and I am confident that it will prove to be durable during its lifetime of use. The design is a little "plain Jane" since it is just all-black, but sometimes simple is best.

This harness has slides that can be adjusted for most, if not all, people to wear. My partner and I had no problems with the fit of this harness. Once the fit is adjusted it stays in place and does not come loose or slip off. My partner tells me this harness is very comfortable and enjoys using it on me; she has not experienced problems with it slipping during use.

What else can I say? This is a very good value for the price and great for anyone who wants to try out harnesses for the first time while still getting a quality product. It is comfortable, stays in place, doesn't drop our toys or cause them to shift around, shows no signs of wear, and works great for us both.
