Hand made with love from deep in Maine

The Mantoy is a good next step for anal sex enthusiasts looking to bridge between small and medium sized toys. Only really compatible with water-based lubes, the Mantoy is made in the USA by a promising small business. I would recommend this toy for those looking for a filling experience.

Use

The Mantoy is a phenomenal harness compatible dildo handmade by Whipspider Rubberworks. The high quality silicone of the Mantoy is non-porous, hypo-allergenic, and phthalates and latex free.

The size of the Mantoy doesn’t make it ideal for hitting a P-spot, but the curve could hit the G-spot. The Mantoy can be used either stand alone or with a compatible harness. If you do decide to use the Mantoy for backdoor shenanigans, its uniquely shaped base will keep it from going in too far.

Material / Texture

The Mantoy is a master work from Whipspider Rubberworks in Maine. The high grade silicone makes the Mantoy flexible and aesthetically pleasing.

The silicone used is odorless, tasteless, and giving. The designs etched into the surface offer a new medium for tribal designs, which could be a little much for some, but I could hardly feel them.

I recommend silicone when I can, especially to the inexperienced. The texture of the Mantoy is great, but the size could throw them for a loop.

Design / Shape / Size

I love the design of the Mantoy, not so much for the tribal designs carved into it, but for the size and shape. Some could say it resembles a gray doodie (I can see that), but I prefer to think of it as getting pegged by Mother Earth (ok, so maybe I’m getting carried away with the tribal designs).

The Mantoy just seems to go right past the P-spot and is really too wide to hit it; it’s more for a filling experience. Although I don’t have a G-spot, I suppose it could stimulate one with its curve. My girlfriend calls me a size queen because of my appreciation for large, filling toys, which this is. It has 6" of insertable length and a 2" diameter.

This is not a toy for those starting out with anal play or for girls who prefer not to be stretched out. Without proper build up or prep it’s about as shocking as the Kool-Aid man busting out of your wall.

Due to its size, its not an easy hide. But the gray coloring helps it blend into the shadows. The pigments used to color it are attractive as well.

At first glance, it seems dull and gray. When you look closer though, you can see where Whipspider went the extra distance and gave it a candy coating gray on gray color. Candy coating is a process of using two colors with a clear coat in the middle to give a two-tone effect.

Performance

The Mantoy is like a great pot roast, a manly meal best saved for last and anticipated. I used a small glass plug as an appetizer and some water-based lube to wash it down before digging into the main course that is the Mantoy.

Its shape is very comfortable and even natural. It seems to hug your inner walls without bulging or stretching in the wrong places. I used the Mantoy in the shower with a water-based lube that I really didn’t care much for and that affected my experience with it. When I tried it later with another lube, it was a much better experience.

Care and Maintenance

The Mantoy comes in a simple plastic baggie (not bag, baggie) with a 3” x 6” card that summarizes the company, the toy, and care for your new toy. With all the frills some companies use in packaging, the eco-minded toy enthusiasts (like me) will appreciate the no-nonsense take Whipspider uses.

The high-quality, uniquely designed silicone, O-ring compatible Mantoy is, as stated, not to be used with silicone based lube, but is easy to clean.

Care instructions from the card are straightforward and useful to those who have never had a silicone toy before: To clean, wash with soap and water or boil in a saucepan for three minutes.

Recently, I dabbed a little bit of Better Sex essentials silicone lube on the bottom of the base to see how it would react, since not all silicone lubes react silicone toys. After 3 minutes of waiting, I wiped and washed the lube off to find the area somewhat dissolved, but I couldn’t feel a difference.

Experience

I’ve used the Mantoy by itself and with other toys. I’ve also used it alone and with my partner. We both like how filling it feels, if only in different ways. I used it once with a sleeve to get a man-in-the-middle experience. It felt as fantastic as I thought it would. But, like I said, it works just fine as a standalone.

After starting with a small glass plug to warm up, I switched to the Mantoy for a more filling experience. I just wish I could use it with my favorite silicone lube.

All in all, both my partner and I enjoyed the Mantoy and we’re both looking forward to using it with a harness.
Follow-up commentary
I still love this wonderful hunk of silicone.

Since first getting it, we've used it in a harness. It worked well, but would've been better with a proper o-ring on the harness.

I would still recommend the Mantoy for the enthusiastic user with lots of lube and patience.
