Could be a fantastic cock were it not for a couple important shortcomings. Still, for those who use dildos outside of harnesses, and for the more adventurous strap-on-ers, this one is worth it.
Pros:
Hardness, size, realistic detail.
Cons:
Lack of base.
Hank dong is an old favorite of mine. I knew I had to have this cock when I first saw it, and despite some shortcomings, I remain attached to it (psychologically, if not physically).
I think it was the extra-firm matte silicone and semi-realistic design that drew me to Hank. All silicone is firm, but this cock feels positively hard in my hands (so you can imagine how it feels elsewhere). As for realism: I used to prefer entirely non-realistic cocks, and more recently find myself drawn to very realistic cocks (in silicone- cyberskin will never do it for me). Hank strikes a perfect balance between the two: he’s black (I have an older model); has balls, a veiny texture and subtle natural head/urethral opening; is far firmer than a flesh-and-blood cock (ok, I’m done talking about firmness now). You can boil it, bleach it or toss it in the top rack of your dishwasher.
I like Tantus silicone because it has a good amount of give, which for me, would be a plus when starting out with a new, larger diameter toy for anal play.
It looks like Hank also has a good wide base so really, I can't think of any reason not to recommend this to you if that's the size you're ready for. Go for it! -

RufinaThis is a good choice for an advanced anal user. Hank is a little bit above average size and if you are a beginner or even intermediate user in anal play I wouldn't recommend it. It is always better to use smaller size for anal play like Happy valley realistic (AL0320STVB) which is thinner. If realistic shape is not a must than Mistress (VXNMP) from Vixen Creations or a Boy 1(B1E01PU) are good options. With all of them don’t forget that toys from anus should never go to vagina without proper cleaning and disinfection which is a breeze with silicone toys!

E- it is slightly less dust-attracting than some silicone. I still keep it in a protected place, of course, but it's not a fuzz-magnet like some softer silicone. And yes, I imagine it would be good for fucking by hand.
I missed your comment the first time I read this that you don't like that Tantus toys are missing a base, but I thought you must mean that realistic Tantus toys don't have bases, but even some of those do (John Doe, Throb). Now I think you meant that realistic Tantus toys with balls don't have bases, and that is true. I think that Goodfella is pretty unique to have both a base and balls in silicone. Plus he's made out of VixSkin. Sounds like Goodfella's the best thing out there, good thing you already have him!
Essin'Em - Hank is great for fucking by hand. The "balls" make a great handle and the stiff silicone gives great control for angle, depth, etc.
After playing around a bit I was able to get Hank to work well in a Aslan Wonder Woman harness, you just need to spend some time to figure out the best approach and make sure it's securely attached. A bit wider flare at the top would make things easier for the harness set, though.
Jimbo- I should have been clearer on that. I meant that Tantus toys usually have small bases (smaller than I would like for harness use). Even their non-balled dildos have pretty small bases, comparatively.
Other cocks with balls (by other companies) usually have a bit more of a lip on the top side of the base, which becomes essential when an o-ring is holding it.
Ahhh, now I understand. So a separate base (like goodfella) is not necessary, but some base up on top if there are balls on the bottom would help out in the use of an o-ring.
