This toy was definitely designed
Hank dong is an old favorite of mine. I knew I had to have this cock when I first saw it, and despite some shortcomings, I remain attached to it (psychologically, if not physically).
I think it was the extra-firm matte silicone and semi-realistic design that drew me to Hank. All silicone is firm, but this cock feels positively hard in my hands (so you can imagine how it feels elsewhere). As for realism: I used to prefer entirely non-realistic cocks, and more recently find myself drawn to very
realistic cocks (in silicone- cyberskin will never do it for me). Hank strikes a perfect balance between the two: he’s black (I have an older model); has balls, a veiny texture and subtle natural head/urethral opening; is far firmer than a flesh-and-blood cock (ok, I’m done talking about firmness now). The one downside of his texture is it can feel a little squeaky. I had one partner say it felt like a balloon inside of him- it took me a minute to realize he meant the feel of this particular silicone, not the size. Extra lube or a condom solves this problem easily, though. I sometimes use condoms to sex even when it's not necessary, since silicone is completely sterilizable, just for the psychological aspect.
When strapped on, this cock stands up nicely, without the floppiness of some. However, my complaint with all Tantus toys, including this one, is a lack of base that makes it less-than-stellar for fucking. My first few experiences with this cock ended in frustration- cock slips out of o-ring or harness opening, I put it back, it slips out again… I eventually gave up on using it for
strap-on sex. Every once in awhile, I would dig it out again and give it another chance to perform, but with the same results. This sad cycle has been interrupted by the addition of the
Joque harness to my collection- something about the stretchy material and fixed opening holds the base/balls of Hank better than any other harness I’ve tried. Though I have yet to put it through the ringer with an extended fuck session, I have high hopes for this pairing and the return of one of my favorite cocks to my sex life.
Make sure you update us with information after you have an extended session with your Joque harness and Hank. He seems like an awesome dildo, it's too bad the acutal usage fell short.
Thanks for another great review!
I missed your comment the first time I read this that you don't like that Tantus toys are missing a base, but I thought you must mean that realistic Tantus toys don't have bases, but even some of those do (John Doe, Throb). Now I think you meant that realistic Tantus toys with balls don't have bases, and that is true. I think that Goodfella is pretty unique to have both a base and balls in silicone. Plus he's made out of VixSkin. Sounds like Goodfella's the best thing out there, good thing you already have him!
Essin'Em - Hank is great for fucking by hand. The "balls" make a great handle and the stiff silicone gives great control for angle, depth, etc.
After playing around a bit I was able to get Hank to work well in a Aslan Wonder Woman harness, you just need to spend some time to figure out the best approach and make sure it's securely attached. A bit wider flare at the top would make things easier for the harness set, though.
Jimbo- I should have been clearer on that. I meant that Tantus toys usually have small bases (smaller than I would like for harness use). Even their non-balled dildos have pretty small bases, comparatively.
Other cocks with balls (by other companies) usually have a bit more of a lip on the top side of the base, which becomes essential when an o-ring is holding it.
