After years with my husband, I was surprised to find he had interest in being anally penetrated. He was reluctant to ask me to use a toy on him, fearing I would question his sexuality, or be turned off by the idea. However, realizing how many things he has tried at my request, I was all for it. We started off with some of my smaller vibrators that I don't use anymore and found it gave him incredible orgasms.

Eventually the subject of pegging came up, and I dismissed it with not much discussion, as I secretly researched options on EdenFantasys to surprise him with. Again and again the "Bend over intermediate kit – harness and dildo set" by Tantus was the front runner on my searches. After deciding it would be ideal, based on the fact that he had anal experience with my old vibrators, and the reviews I had been reading talked about the great quality of this product, I cashed in my EF points to surprise hubby.

Packaging:
The shipment came quickly, in a discreet cardboard box from EF. The harness set itself is packed in a clear plastic box. Included in the package were: (1) harness, (1) vibrating bullet, (1) "small" dildo, and (1) "medium" dildo.

Materials/texture:
The dildos are made of high quality, 100% silicone, which was a deciding factor when I bought this kit. Silicone is rated as a 10 on the EF Safety Scale, non-porous, phthalate-free, latex-free, hypoallergenic, and easily sterilizable; these didlos can be used by just about everyone. Upon opening, there was a very noticeable silicone smell from the dildos, I think mostly from being sealed in the box. After a few good washes, the smell dissipated.

The harness straps are made of strong, quality nylon with plastic buckles used to tighten or loosen to the wearer's comfort. The center area is a soft, velvet-like material that is soft against the wearer's pelvis area. The center section has 4 metal buttons that open to change out the "O-Ring" depending on the size of the dildo being used.
The bullet is made of plastic and slips into a small pouch on the soft velvet area on the front above the "O-Ring". It is not waterproof, so always remove before using the harness in the shower.


Size/shape:
The dildos: There are 2 sizes of dildos included in this kit, a "small" and a "medium." The small dildo is 5.5" long, 3.75" in circumference, with about 4.75" of insertable length.
The large dildo measures 7" long, 4.5" in circumference, with 6.25" of insertable length.
Both dildos are smooth. The small one is straight, with the same continuous thickness from top to bottom. The medium has a bulbous tip, which may be a big difference for the receiver to adjust to when switching between the small and medium.

The harness:
EF notes the harness as being "one size fits most." I opened the nylon straps to their fullest and found they would fit roughly 59"-60" wide hips, maximum. The nylon straps are a bit rough; a padded sleeve would have been a nice addition


Performance:
When using toys for anal play, we typically like to use a condom with them to make it easier for cleaning. We found because of the small diameter of the small dildo, and continuous circumference, condoms really wouldn't stay on this one. We also found, with only 4.75" of insertable length, the small one was very hard to penetrate with. We have not used the medium dildo yet because of the bulbous tip - something hubby really is not prepared for. The size difference between the two included dildos is very extreme, the small is SMALL, and the medium is a bit bulbous and girthy. I think Tantus could have offered a more appropriate size increase than what was included.

The Harness: While in use, we found it would come loose and adjust on its own, which became frustrating.

We tried several positions, and unfortunately none really worked that great with the small dildo. We are currently looking into other dildo options that will fit this harness.


Care/Maintenance:
Dildos: Since they are made of high quality silicone, there are a number of ways to clean the dildos. For an easy clean, you can wash them in warm water with mild detergent, they can be boiled for 3 minutes to sterilize them, or you can even put them in the top rack of your dishwasher for a thorough cleaning. Of course, condoms are also a very convenient way to keep toys clean. It's also important to note that only water-based lubricants should be used with these dildos. Silicone lubricants on silicone toys can degrade/damage the material.

Harness: The packaging notes the harness as being machine washable, which is incredibly incredibly convenient.

The package arrived mid-day, while hubby was at work, I eagerly opened it, washed the dildos and tried it on. I was surprised by the size difference of the dildos, and how small the small really was, but figured we'd still give it a try. I had read that it was best to wear it around for a bit to get used to it before putting it in action. Having never worn a strap-on, it was certainly a new experience. It was fun to see on me, and stroke. I then hid it away to surprise hubby with.

Later that night, I told hubby I was going to "change into something more comfortable", which is usually the code for sex. When I came out of the bathroom, I found him in bed, when he saw me in a new babydoll with a strap on poking out from under it, he was shocked.

By the time I got to the bed, he was rock hard, and standing up. He laid me on my back at the edge of the bed, and penetrated me. After a few minutes, I told him it was his turn. He tried to put a condom on the small dildo, unsuccessfully, and then ended up lubing the dildo itself, and climbing on top of me. We found this position didn't work well with the small dildo, and switched to doggie style. Doggie style worked a little better, but still was not great penetration. I ended up asking him to lay on his back at the edge of the bed, so I could see his face, and stroke his penis while I fucked him.

After dealing this frustration for a while, I took off the harness, and used a dildo on him with my hand. We're hoping we can find a better, more appropriately sized dildo to fit this harness. I will be sure to update you with what we find.
