Packaging:


The packaging of the Ophoria Pleasure Dildo No. 6 is simple and free of any sexual imagery. The front of the pink and white coloured box simply features the name of the product, mentions that it is made of 100 percent Silicone and has a clear panel to show the dildo sitting inside. On the back of the box you will find product information provided in a range of languages. The dildo sits within a plastic sleeve inside the box.




First Impression:

Seeing the Ophoria Pleasure Dildo No. 6 in person for the first time, it is simple yet strikingly elegant in design. The first thing I noticed was that it was smaller than expected and the second thing I noticed was how nicely firm it feels. The head of the dildo is rounded and bulbous on one side and along the sides of the dildos shaft are slightly raised artsy looking designs. The head of the dildo could be called semi realistic in its shape and right under it is a slim ridge. As shown in the product photos there is a small nub or bump just under the head of the dildo and a matching bump at the base of the toy. While the bump at the base of the toy could be seen as something that is put there to provide texture to help you hold onto the dildo, the bump just under the head is a bit unusual and I was unsure of how it would feel during use.



One feature that really excited me about the Ophoria Pleasure Dildo No. 6 is its suction cup, with not enough toys in my collection featuring a suction cup, I was both looking forward to testing out the strength of it and looking forward to being about to enjoy positions and types of play that dildos without suction cups just can’t provide. Testing the cup before trying it out in use, the cup proved to be surprisingly strong, sticking to any smooth surface that I could find.

In Use:

The rounded head of the Ophoria Pleasure dildo feels great upon insertion. The velvety soft finish of the silicone means that a generous amount of water based lubricant is needed first. While I was nervous about the bump or nub that sits just under the head of the dildo, in use I found it to be comfortable and stimulating, the raised pattern that adorns the sides of the toys shaft are surprisingly comfortable but stimulating too. The slim girth of the toy feels more filling than expected and the firm build of the dildo means that every bit of texture the toy has is really felt and enjoyed.

The suction cup part of the dildo holds up really well and proves it can stay put on most flat surfaces. With the dildo measuring only 6 Inches long with an insertable length of 5 ¼ Inches, I enjoyed being able fully sit on and push down on the dildos full length which is something I often crave but can’t manage with larger/longer suction cup dildos.

During particularly rough thrusting, the small nub of the toy can start to feel a little strange. Having read that some other people had done this, I decided to cut and file away the top part of the bump. While it is only really a tiny piece of silicone, it made a noticeable difference for me and made the toy now perfect for more extended sessions. The matching bump at the base of the toy proves to be functional and comes in very handy for gripping onto the toy during use. While the side pattern of the toy feels like no other toy that I own, it is still enjoyable over longer or rougher sessions and is stimulating in a way that I can’t say I’ve experienced before. The texture of this modestly size dildo brings it to a higher level of stimulation than I would ever have expected.

Material/Care:


Made of high-quality Silicone, the Ophoria Pleasure Dildo No. 6 is both Latex and Phthalates free, silicone is completely non-porous meaning that it can be fully disinfected by boiling it for 3 minutes or by throwing it into the top rack of your dishwasher or it can be simply washed after use with warm soapy water or specialized toy cleaner. Care should particularly be taken when cleaning around the toys patterned sides to ensure that the dildo is fully cleaned. It is generally believed that silicone based lubricants should not be used with silicone toys. I would recommend using a generous amount of water-based lubricant with the Ophoria Pleasure Dildo No. 6 and storing it somewhere dust free in between uses. I store mine in a zip-seal bag to keep it clean and ensure that it doesn’t react with any other toys it is stored near.

To follow the instructions on the back of the packaging, it reads:

Use water based lubricant for easier insertion. Clean toy carefully after every use. Material is nonporous and can be easily washed with mild soap and water. Do not use a brush or abrasive solutions to clean.
