The Medium Silk dildo by Tantus is a wonderful piece. This is the middle of three sizes of Silk dildos they manufacture, and a wonderful dildo whether you’re looking for vaginal stimulation or fullness with anal play.

The Medium Silk comes in a variety of colors. I chose lavender (which matches the small Silk that I have), and it is a lovely, shiny shade. This dildo is 6” long (with 5 1/2" insertable), and only 1 1/4” wide. The Medium Silk weighs under 8 ounces, so it’s nice and light. The dildo has a very gentle curve to it, and is firm with just a bit of give. It has a flat, wide base which is compatible with O-ring harnesses, and also makes the Silk ideal for anal play. It is the perfect size for vaginal use, and it’s great as a second stage anal plug as well. With a water-based lube the Medium Silk slides in easily.

This dildo is made of silicone, so it’s smooth, non-porous, phthalates-free, latex-free, and hypo-allergenic. Silicone repels dirt and bacteria, and can be sterilized by boiling it for three minutes, or running it through the dishwasher (top rack only).

While the Medium Silk can be used for vaginal play, I bought it specifically as a second-stage toy for anal play. It’s too large for me to start out with, but after warming up with the Small Silk and its 1” diameter, I was ready for a little more girth and length. Once the Medium Silk was lubed up, my husband was able to slide this easily into my ass. I only felt a little discomfort, as I opened wider for the diameter, but no pain whatsoever. The Medium Silk really felt like it filled me up comfortably. Because it’s smooth, the Silk can be pushed in and pulled out with ease, and my husband had a great time fucking my ass with this once I was adjusted to having this inserted. This silk is not too long, so you don’t have to worry about being impaled if your partner is using this on you. The Medium Silk is a good preparation if you plan to go for a toy with more diameter. It gets you used to have something substantial in your ass.

With its 1 1/4” diameter, I found the Medium Silk stayed well in my ass and didn’t try to slip out as did its smaller cousin. That was a plus when changing positions as we didn’t have to worry about holding it in place.

The Medium Silk is a high quality dildo, and well worth the price. It will last for years to cum.

For the amount of use this toy gets, it has held up spectacularly. It's experienced no wear or discoloration.

I've even tried this in a harness (albeit for vaginal use due to the harness design). While the base was too wide for the type of harness, it was flat enough, it would work well with a traditional harness.

We enjoy using this as a second stage anal toy, and it hasn't disappointed.
