It's a Stretch!

Randy is a very large, realistic feeling, realistic looking dildo. He's fun to play with....so long as you can take a toy that size. He is anal safe....so long as you can take a toy that size. I highly recommend this dildo....so long as you can take a toy that size.

extremely useful review

Use

I love a challenge! I also love pushing my limits, especially my sexual limits. So when I saw Vixen Creations' Vixskin Randy, I just had to give him a try. And boy am I glad I did. But be forewarned, Randy is a BIG boy! I even find him difficult to take at times. And after having had four children, I can honestly say, I have been officially crowned a size queen.

Randy is also not easy to thrust with. Personally, I've found that I either need to let him just sit there while I use a clitoral vibrator, or I have to use slow small movements.

I suppose Randy could be used anally. But there is no way, I'm going to be the one to test it out to let you know. If you're really that brave, go for it. It does have a nice round flared base, so at least it's anal safe.

And for those of you who have a Liberator Wing, Randy's base does fit in it, but just barely.

Material / Texture

Randy is made of Vixskin. According to the material guide it is a "Semi-organic polymer, known for wide-ranging stability and water repellence." It also states that "VixSkin boasts the superior hygienic qualities of silicone, while retaining the realistic look and feel of cyberskin." So basically it is a very body friendly, safe, non-porous, phthalates free, hypo-allergenic material, that feels like the real thing. Actually, I have yet to find a toy that feels 100% real. But I would have to say that Vixskin is definitely the next best thing.

Vixskin also has no taste or smell. It is soft and squishy on the outside, with a firm core. It is a tad tacky, so it does grab dust, hair, etc. It is important to note, that this is a silicone product, so only water based lubes can be used with it.

I also want to mention that there is a version of Randy that is made of regular silicone, making it a firmer, but less realistic feeling, toy. I chose the Vixskin because I wanted the realistic feel, and I'll admit, I was not brave enough to attempt a firmer version of Randy.

Design / Shape / Size

Though I've never seen a penis as large as Randy, first hand, I assume it is a realistic looking dildo. It does not have all the veins, etc that a real penis has. But it does have a very defined head with a frenulum. Randy also has a very defined curve and angle, making it extremely easy to hit the G-spot.

Randy is 6 1/2 inches long, with 5 1/2 of those inches being insertable. But what's really impressive about Randy is that his girth is a whopping 6 3/4 inches circumference, or 2 1/8 inches diameter. I'm telling you, the first thought that came into my mind when I first held Randy was....DAMN!!! Weighing in at one pound, this is also a somewhat heavy dildo. I tended to need to change hands frequently during use.

Randy also has a flat rounded base that is 3 1/2 inches wide. This dildo is O-ring compatible, if you can find an O-ring that big. I'm not sure if they make them, and I'll probably never know. Because I doubt my hubby would ever let me strap this baby on and come anywhere near his ass!

By the way, this is by no means, a discreet toy. It is large! And there is no getting around what it is, should anyone else every come upon it.

Performance

Randy does perform beautifully....once you get him in. The first time I tried, it was literally a "stretch"!!! I have to say, I'm not used to having a hard time inserting a toy into my vagina. I did lube him up well. But I felt like a virgin having sex for the first time when I tried to use him. It was a combination of "This hurts a bit....but it feels good too." I was able to use Randy to completion that first time. But after that, I learned to warm up first before using him. Also, I don't use Randy very often. I do love him! But I really really have to be in the mood for him. So if you're not a size "queen" be forewarned! This may not be an easy dildo to use.

Vixen Creations says that Randy's base can be used as a suction cup. Though I have not found this to be true. I was able to get it to stick to a flat surface at first. But as soon as I tried to use it, it came unstuck. I think this type of base probably does work with other similar Vixen dildos. But the sheer weigh of Randy seems to make it difficult. At least that has been my experience.

And as I said previously, Randy is harness compatible, if you can find an O-ring that will fit around it.

Care and Maintenance

Cleaning Randy is easy. Just use mild soap and water, or your favorite toy cleaner. You can also disinfect Randy by putting him in the top shelf of the dishwasher, or boiling him for three minutes, or using a 10% bleach solution.

Also Randy is made of silicone, so please only use water based lubes with this toy.

Randy comes in a reusable plastic tube. I find that to be the best way to store him. If you don't use the tube, you'll want to use a large plastic bag, or something similar, since he does attract lint and hair.

Personal comments

What more can I say? I love Randy! He's a lot of fun to use when I'm in the mood for something large. And I can, and do, have some amazing orgasms with him. But he's not going to be for everyone.

Randy is still in great condition even after all this time. This still isn't a dildo that I use often, but when I'm in the mood for something big it's perfect. I still recommend this dildo!

  • Green Vixskin Randy?
    • So I see the green Vixskin Randy is out of stock.... Was it a limited time only thing? Was it made for some sort of event? Does anyone know where I can find a place selling the green one? Or does anyone have the green one? If someone has the green one who's willing to part with it (if you don't like it or whatever) I'd be willing to purchase it from you. It's silicone so it's easily sterilizable and all, so I have no worries about that. :) (I have bought and sold silicone toys before, sterilizing before and after of course. I wouldn't trust any materials that cannot be sterilized.)

      (If this isn't allowed to be posted [posts of this nature I mean] please let me know and I'll ask for it to be removed.)

      I wish i could help, but I have a narrow vagina as well as I don't even go near larger toys like the Randy. I guess I'm chicken! I know their are plenty of contributors here who do have experience though. It looks so delicious...I wish my vagina had a little more fight in her!
    • I made the same mistake in purchasing this. Sometimes I can get it in, but it just hurts too much to move it. I don't know why I thought Randy could work for me. I must have just read a compelling review.
